Once the Steyr becomes the pistol of choice, how does one determine the correct hand size? Medium or large

For someone just entering the sport, Is the "Kite" worth the extra $250 over the Aeron Cz 101 Spyder? I've found some information on the Benelli, (all positives for the most part). But info on the "syder" is nonexistent. I can't find a dealer that sells both for a possible unbias...
