Maintenance Information

Hey guys, I very much appreciate your information. I would like to open a new subject. What are your recomendations in regards to cleaning and maintenance of the Pardini pistol? When I spoke with Dan Nygord, he emphasized there is very little maintenance required. There is allot of advertisement, ob...

akihmsa The most I can get from the inside dimensions of my garage is 23 ft. Therefore I need a reduced target for 6 meters. Where can I purchase this target or do you have other suggestions to suit my needs. I am a novice to shooting air pistols , although I have several years of experience shootin...

Sparky,

Thanks for the info. Why doesn't Ruger publicize this information? I use snap caps in all my guns when dryfiring, just for extra precaution. I apologize if I miss-led anyone on the dryfiring subject. I will contact Ruger with this concern and report back.

Thanks for the info. About scoring: For example, when the shot is placed on the line between the 9 and 8 ring, how ist it scored?

Air Pistol 10 meter distance question??

I am new to the sport, and shoot my Pardini K58 in the garage. Makes a great practice range. My question: Is the 10m distance measured from the stance or the muzzle end of the pistol?

You can dry fire the Ruger. Sig strongly discourages dryfiring the Trailside. Although, you can use a snap cap and will not damage the firing pin.

I have the Trailside and the Ruger Mark II. Both are very comparable from 25 yards. I shoot both using a red dot sight (Ultra Dot). Very durable equipment. I highly recommend them considering their attractive price range as well.

Shot the K58 today. Unbelievable how accurate this gun is. I can see myself getting really hooked, considering I can go to my garage and shoot all day for very little cost. The worst I did was to put a few out to the 5 ring, but for the most part I kept everything in the black. Practice, Practice!!!...

Thanks for you input. I am really leaning toward the K58, for its simplicity, quality and accuracy. You mention red dot sights. I use them on two of my .22s, made by Ultra Dot. What will I need if I decide to use this sight on the K58?

Thanks Again!!
