Re: Aging and Score Decline

I'm gettin' up there, so I've decided that I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and crying like the passengers in his car.

With the excellent pistol you have acquired, it's all on you now, brother.

Re: Aging and Score Decline

What with being even older than William, I have done some research on the subject. I talked to five times Nat'l Champ Steve Reiter and Nat'l Record holder Renald Schilke at Phoenix R&G, both who could be safely classified as "ancient." Both claimed to be victims of "The Yipes"...

Re: Restaurants near OTC

Haven't been there in a while, but I knew the owners and brewmaster at the Phantom Canyon brewery.

"The Babe" always enjoyed the trout at Sunday breakfast and the beer was good. The local BMW cycle club met there, too.

IF you want to mess with this:
Get a big rubber washer from the hardware store or your junk and cut a notch in it.

Re: Stores selling ISSF 10m AP and pistol gear in Germany?

I seem to remember a small shop not too far from the train station in Mainz.
An added benefit was that they had live models displaying cute undies in a
department store window nearby. Not a great pizza town, though.

Re: High and I can't set the Baikal IZH 46M any lower

I was playing with an old Mauser cavalry rifle. Apparently, they set the sights up so that you aimed at the belt buckle and it would hit someplace much higher, good to any reasonable distance. I just snipped the end off a tie wrap/zip tie and superglued it to the front sight. Amazingly, it was right...

Re: Foot Markers - ISSF legal solutions?

Since there is no "Natural Point of Air" (NPA), then you don't need to worry about your foot exact placement. You appear to have convinced yourself that it IS important, so worry about something else, like pellet choice, to take your mind off it. I've seen guys put down tape and other mark...
