Trigger shoe all the way back, is there any advantage?
Hello all, While I was surfing through the images of shooters on Issf-sports.org, I stumble upon some thing, I felt interesting that 'most of the top air pistol shooters I found there, are keeping their trigger shoes all the way to the back or so'. Is it a coincidence or are there any real scientifi...

This extra difficulty may add tension and anxiety and all sorts of involuntary muscular effort. Also, it takes longer to decide when to operate the trigger. It's true, There was some added issued with my grip. It was a large one with little extra space above my middle finger so my middil finger's t...

and your point of posting this photo is? I thought I've cleared my point of posting this photo on my first post, I had my palm shelf extended back but not this high, even though I've asked to cut it off up to my palm or below the joint of wrist, otherwise it will be illegal and will get disqualifie...

Is it legal to have a grip like this?
Hello all, I'm posting this out of confusion and curiosity, Can we have a palm shelf extending this much? I had a 'L' grip and I was forced to grind off the extended length of it's palm shelf as advised by some senior shooters it may lead to a disqualification, but in fact it was not this high on my...

Re: Hight for 3m reduced Target of AP
You need to know your own height (or the height of the guns sights on aim at 10m) because you are trying to replicate 'normal' position and aiming, and basically triangulate down to 3M. So if your sights are at 170cm then the target at 3M should be at about 160cm. Rob. Thanks Rob, My sight is at 16...

Hight for 3m reduced Target of AP
Hi, I made a 3m reduced target for 10m AP, which I thought of, use for putting on wall for dry fire practice. I used downloaded version of Scatt for print it, but I can't find the information on what hight have to put it, I know standard hight of 140cm is not going to applicable for reduced one at 3...

Huge downside of the e-models though is the grip adjustment, which is far more limited and difficult to customize than on the mechanical Steyrs. Is it true? My understanding was Unlike Morini Electronic, Steyr can have all the grip adjustments which are possible on mechanical version , at least in ...

Re: Help! My front sight goes down
....but this will be eating up my time.... That's why you get 105 minutes for 60 shots (plus sighters). Are you sure that your grip strength is the same for dry firing and live firing. You are right, Just now I did some dry fire tests on blank wall and also with a small spot on it, I felt my grip s...

Help! My front sight goes down
Hello everyone, I'm following this forum for some time, it did helped me a lot. Re: 60 figure of eights
Basically , one attempts to create imaginary figure of eights over the target. Why? I've seen similar exercise advised to the pistol shooters for making their hold more study and light it uses a dumbbell for Tracing a figure of '8' both vertically and horizontally, I found this under Special Exerci...

All of this disparaging posting is really too bad. The IZH 46M is an affordable, reliable, competition-grade gun. The technology my be outdated, but that's what you get for the price. There sure as hell isn't anything else even close for the money. I second sbtzc, I started with this gun, because i...
