Shot last weekend, given CCI std did run reliably previously and gave the best resultsof the std vel in my quick test I gave them another run. Put 2 boxes in my pocket when I left home so by the time I shot they were close to body temperature instead of ambient temp of around 10c. Still had 2 malfun...

Thanks fellas, have a few things to try. Not real keen on shortening the buffer as I run a 32 conversion on it and it is running 100% reliably with the buffer as is. Actually purchased it as a 32 and added a 22 conversion not that it makes much difference. I'll try a bigger variety of ammo and see i...

I installed two matchguns mg2 slide return springs that were shorter and had less compression force. This overcame the problem completely so we eventually went to a spring maker and had seven sets of springs made with the same compression force as the mg2 springs but made to the same length as the ...

Mine is the later model without adjustment on the buffer. Looking at the one fitted it looks good from the rear but like it may be a bit oil impregnated on the front. I wonder if it has absorbed a bit of oil if it may increase the resistance. If the recoil springs are a touch stronger than needed a ...

Re: SP20 problem
Arggh! Step 1 - clean pistol and THOROUGHLY clean the chamber. Step 2 - clean the magazines I'm not keen on the idea either but from the old thread it appears some were shipped with recoil springs a bit stronger than needed. Have an old browning that does a similar thing with ammo that is a bit lig...

SP20 problem
Purchased a SP20 about 2 years ago but have done very little shooting since. When I first got it seemed to function fine with a variety of ammo, used it a few times in the past month and it is failing to pick up the first round about 2/3 the time. Load 5 in the mag, drop the slide, fire and it fails...

Re: Feed Ramp
Greetings, Once installed, the 22 lr conversion slips over it. Once installed, you forget about it. Purchased a SP20 a little while ago and 22 conversion arrived this week, instructions said to remove the 32 feed ramp but without an appropriate roll pin punch I thought I would search the net and se...

Hamerlli 280 help
Have decided to upgrade my pistol and the idea of a 22/32 conversion appeals due to the limited time I get to spend on the range. Was thinking about SP-20 but research tends to sujest a late model 280 would be a better choice. Only concern is the reports of early models shooting the 1st shot high wi...

I made enquiries regarding the Taipan projectiles, but some local club members told me they were no longer aailable which is why I went toward the Bullzi projectiles. Cheers Brad Brad It seems to be the case, I have contacted Taipan half dozen times about ordering 20,000+ projectiles and have yet t...

Re: ISSF Center Fire. Choosing revolver.
@S&W owner: Have someone S&W's factory-test grouping of shots? May could You show it? Nothing wrong with S&W with regards to accuracy. Ran out of my usual powder and seeing as I had 1.5kg of trailboss sitting on the shelf for reduced rifle loads thought I would give it a go in the .38. ...

Re: Influence of shooter confidence and decisiveness on scor
Looking for a reason of that happening I came up with the idea that I'm too concerned with my scores, thus, sometimes rushing or keep wandering on the aiming area which leads to poor performance. I figure I should totally forget about there being a target behind me, but that seems to be difficult a...

If you're in the US, this may be of use: Thanks I'm in Aus but it is nice to know when you factor in the exchange rate the prices are similar to Aus. We will have to look at the Pardini K2. One cylinder doesn't worry me, I only have one for my air pistol and it isn't a problem. I have seen dealers ...

Junior/Ladies Air Pistol
Wife would like a new air pistol and with a 11 year old son starting pistol shooting soon we have been looking at compact/short versions. The Steyr LP2 compact and Morini 162 short with either electronic or machanical trigger are available and similarly priced. Are there any other similar quality ai...

Thanks for your reply 220, but we (the club) have been having a lot of problems with the quality of this brand. So this is the reason we are looking for another supplier. If you have had no problems then you are fortunate, but we can only speak based on our own experiences. Might be worth giving hi...

So now we are back to the original question, where do we get 32 Cal HBWC in Australia? Bullzi should be available give Hank a call and he should be able to supply what you want. He may even be able to size to your requirements. You will probably need to order a fair quantity to make it viable. H&am...

I have also found that after a break of a few weeks from shooting, my scores on the first training session are above average but they tend to fall back after a while. I wonder if the old saying 'too much familiarity breeds contempt' Nice to hear I'm not the only one who has found this. I put it dow...
