Bill Earnest (Earnest SHooting Products) can be reached at 570-797-4872. I have not used his buttplates (I have the MEC Free Position), but I see quite a few of them and those that use them seem to like them. If I didn't have the MEC (Came with the rifle I bought) I would buy one of his. In his 2006...

Success!!!
Well, the recrowning helped quite a bit. The man who did it told me it was one of the best factory crowns he had ever seen and wasn't sure what the results would be. My group sizes were about cut in half. One lot of SK Match went from an average of 0.133" to 0.066" another went from 0.105&...

i have heard more like 100,000 to 200,00 rounds before a smallbore barrel is shot out. 10 to 20,000 for a high power sounds right. Now that I think about it, from what I've been told, at one time Wigger shot about a case of ammo a week just practicing. that would mean he would need to rebarrel his r...

Ammo Testing and Group Size
Hi all, I have had a Walther KK200 Power Match for about 2 years. I have been using some Eley Target Rifle that I had when I bought the rifle. Now that that is almost gone I decided to test ammo before I buy more. I spent the better part of Saturday testing lots of SK Match and Standard Plus using a...

Scope
I tried some of the cheaper scopes, then I got wise and traded them in and got a Kowa TSN-661 with the 25X LER eyepiece. I should have bought that one in the first place. Fortunately a great vendor was able to take my other two scopes in trade at Perry this year so I didn't loose that much money on ...

Who makes this item?
Somewhere I saw a device to attach the lens from you shooting frames to the rear iris. Does anybody know who makes it?

I use adjustable front and rear irises on my air and smallbore rifles from Gehman. They are high quality and much less expensive that the Anschutz brand. For the front I use the clear adjustable iris. dont like the post of crosswire design, however I am thinnking of changing to the Centra duo glass ...

I have a KK200 Power Match with the upgraded KK300 trigger. It is very similar to the KK300. Mine came with the bloop tube and 2 different forend blocks. The tigger is amazing. The rifle is easily adjustable and everyting is well indexed so that your adjustments are eassy to reproduce. I have heard ...

which rifle
Why not stick with what you know. I shoot a LG300 also. When it came time to buy a smallbore rifle I got the KK 200 Power Match. The stock is very similar to the LG 300 and it was quite easy to set up. The rifle shoots great. Before I bought it I read somewhere (probably on this board) that it had t...

10M
I shoot a Walther LG300 Alutec. I like it a lot. If I practice regularly, I can shoot in the low 570's with this rifle. I dont really understand the need to take down a 10M gun. I leave mine setup in a hard case when not shooting it. I don't like the Steyr for one reason, there are no index marks on...
