LG 300
I shoot an LG 300 Aluminum. Not the XT model but the one before it. I have not had any problems with it. It fits me very well and it quite easy to adjust. I think the only difference between the model I have and the XT is the absorber mechanism is different. I don't think you can go wrong with the W...

Re: Program
Check out the ISSF's website. There is a link to watch videos clips of different World Cup competitions etc. I found it helpful, after studying Ways of the Rifle, to watch the elite shooter perform. That helped me to imporve my positions.

Walther
Jason,
I'm also 6'2" with rather Long arms. I shoot a Walther KK 200 Power Match. It shoots great and I have not had any problems with fitting the stock to me. It comes with the MEC buttplate assembly.

Re: Scope Shims
I had the same problem with my Anshutz 64MSR for smallbore silhouettes. I shimmed the rear of the scope using 4 pieces of old 35mm film negatives. Just cut the negative into strips as wide as the scope rings and you should have no problems.

Re: Ritalin
Sometimes what works is to start the taper of Ritalin and start the Stratera at the same time. Tapering the Ritalin during the first few weeks of the Stratra.

TWP, If your son's Ritalin was discontinued without slowly tapering overy SEVERAL weeks, he was likely suffering from withdrawl and not side effects of Stratera. I'm a pharmacist and see that all the time. Doctor or family says lets switch meds and they are just switched. If you are switching from o...

I know there are smallbore rifle silhouette matches in Ridgeway. There is also a nice range in Milroy (near Lewistown). Not sure about pistol at either places. I live in Williamsport and shoot smallbore silhouette here. A lot of the guys I shoot with attend matches at both of those ranges. Our Satur...

Bill
I see Bill just about every week. I shhot at the club where he coaches a junior team. He usually score the targets for us. I have bought some sight risers from him and a hand stop. Don't have a need for anything else at this point. His off hand stands are great. I wish I had met him before I bought ...

As guest said, first you need to decide what you are going to use it for. I started shooting air rifle and pogressed into 3-p smallbore. I find the 3-p quite enjoyable and challenging. Since I have been shooting air rifle for a while I find my offhand scores are to my satisfaction. My prone an kneel...

Out of shape kids
I hope he can learn to shoot despite his size. I don't have any ideas, besides the obvious of diet and exercise, but I can sympathize with him. As a kid my brother said it wasn't fair that when i shot i had a big gut to rest my arm on and he didn't. It did make for a steady hold. The fitness bug hit...

Website?
BM,
Bill does not have a website, just a small catalog. Give him a call and I'm sure he can send you one. Anybody use one of his bloop tubes that can chime in on quality? I shoot a walther KK200 PM. It has it's own bloop tube so I didn't need and an aftermarket one.

Extension tube
Call Bill Earnest (Earnest Shooting Products) in PA. 570-797-4872. He makes great products at competative prices. They are $75 for a standard bloop tube and $95 for a 16" tube for short barrel rifles.

Spotting Scope
I recently purchased a Kowa 20x50 with the 45 degree eyepiece. They are about $150. I can see all five bulls on a target. Eye relief is great. Optics are clear and bright.

Glove
I was just watching the video of the World Cup in Milan from June 2004 on the ISSF website. Sonia was wearing the infamous glove then as well. If there was a problem with the rules, other shooters had two months before the Olympics to challenge her. JMHO.

What Happened to Emmons?
I just looked at the 3-P results. Matt's last finals shot was a 0.0. He only needed a 7.2 to take the gold. Anybody know what happened on that last shot?

Sight adjusment
I have watched most of the video clips on the ISSF site, and this type of behavior seems common. Watch them and you will see most shooters making some adjustments. I guess if your hold is a 10.9 and your shot is a 10.6, you might want to make an adjustment. Not anything I'm capable of yet.
