Hi,
My 11yo wants to start shooting. I have an LP-10 I used. Anyone know if its possible to fit a youth size grip on an LP-10? Steyr's web site only lists an x-small which still looks to big for a kid. Sources for youth grips?
thanks,
Jab

Decapping Lapula 32 S&W Long
Hi, Anyone else having issues de-priming their Lapula 32 S&W Long brass? I just bought a Lee die set and the decapping rod pops each time. I asked Lee and just got back "Lapua brand brass usually has undersized flash holes". They recommend resizing the flash hole or filing down the rod...

Re: Help assembling/mounting Walther GSP rear sight
Seems to be working. Sight body is centered. Moves with clicks left and right.
Didn’t put a kink in it. Just uselessly put it between the body and screw, not inside the sight body Against the right side of the frame.

Thanks folks,
It wasn’t the blade but the whole sight body.
I had the spring wrong.
Cheers,
Jab

Help assembling/mounting Walther GSP rear sight
Hi, Got a GSP year’s ago with a red dot and the rear sight in a zip lock bag. Want to shoot it with iron sights now. Need help getting rear sight in correctly! I did what made sense and put the various parts in the order of the exploded diagrams I can find online. https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/69/bc/l1...

Re: Load development success
I was certainly happy with it. A grain less or more and the group is 50% bigger. And I called the high shot. With my astigmatism, the red dot is more of a figure eight and sometimes I center the wrong part in the black. 1.69" w/o that outlier. :-)

Load development success
The only problem with finding a load your wad gun likes this much at 50yds,
is that now I know all the 8s, and less, are on me!
Shooting off a rest using my red dot.

Clarification on Distinguished Revolver NRA rule 3.1.4
So I sent an email to pistol@nrahq.org and Damien's official answer is: Unfortunately that would be considered an external modification. If the rear factor sight wiggles, I suggest getting a new sight of exact same model so you are not modifying the gun and therefore eliminating it from use in DR ma...

Help with Distinguished Revolver under NRA rule 3.1.4
Hi, For the first time since I've gotten into outdoor bullseye there is a "Distinguished Revolver" match near by. I just read rule 3.1.4 and it talks a LOT about no external changes. Does that include an upgraded rear sight on my Ruger GP100? The factory rear blade wiggles. I was going to ...

Re: Best .22 conversion to buy?
Sorry to say but with my experience don't go for the Marvel unless you plan on a dedicated lower. I can not get it to function with my wad gun lower which was the whole dang reason for getting it.

Awesome news! I'm sure some juniors at MRA will be getting some Pardinis.
Funny, the Toz wasn't added.
thanks Greg,

Ya know,
Its nice haveing a financial genius as a spouse. Note excellent timing of getting into stocks a couple of months ago.
But, it sucks that she can rattle off exactly what I spent on guns and ammo last year!

Re: Typical reasons for high shots?
Hi, With my AP I am trying to do line of white aiming at the moment. I've tried area aim where I'm way down low on the target but really had horrible results. Tried pumpkin-on-a-stick and felt I was more likely to look at the bull; but at least I knew were I was and I think I had less "which wa...

Re: Typical reasons for high shots?
thanks for the input. I can not call my shots with iron sights. There I said it. Is this the first step on recovery? If I am focused on front sight, I don't know where it is in relation to the bull. If I know where it is in relation to the the bull, its because I'm sneaking a peak, or changing focus...

Typical reasons for high shots?
Hi, Looking for a little advice. Shot a disappointing 60 shot match yesterday. 1/4 of my shots were horizontally in the 9 ring; at least, a lot actually above the 10 ring. But vertically I pulled them up to the 8 or even the 7. When I plot my shots you can see two distinct vertical bands that show m...

Question about Champion Olympic shooting frames
Hi, I just received a new pair of Champion Olympic shooting frames. I found a great guide on setting then up: http://www.precision-sports.com/cusfit.htm But I'm a little confused about the angle of the lensholder anchor which can be pushed left or right by screwing the blue barrel nut, but apparentl...

Re: Fancy shooting glasses
Champion shooting glasses will allow you to move the lens forward and backward. Changing vertex distance will allow you to add or detract diopter to get a clear front sight. All Champion's, including the cheaper Olympic pair, or only the Super-Olympic model? I see that the expensive ones say they h...
