Walther LG300 XT Anatomic Air Rifle

Hello there, I am looking for opinions/comments from owners of the Walther LG300 Anatomic Air Rifle, as I am looking into the purchase of one of these.... I have known two shooters that have had issues with the feel of the rifle, and am wondering if this is a common complaint? Also, if there are any...

My apologies; indeed, the buttons should be no more than 10cm away from the edge.

*A classic example of what happens when I am tired :)

overlap

When you move the buttons, make sure that they are at least 10cm away from the edge. At equipment checks, they will measure to make sure there is at least a 7cm overlap.

Hope this helps,

Thank you very much for the opinions - I have been collecting information on the Protouch, and it seems to be the best option.

I am asking in relation to both - dizziness, focal problems and eyestrain occur both outside and in, although mostly outside.

I do tend to tilt my head sideways - my angle of cant is very slight indeed... Earlier on in my training I had developed a backwards cant (canting away from my body), which was terrible for balance, as well as a negative effect on my position and scores.

BCG, I shoot left handed, but the rifle itself is completely configured for a right handed shooter, including the sights, with an ambidextous grip. Sights are set up normally, centred on the rifle. Thank you for the link; very neat set-up.... Trouble is, now that shooting left has become second natu...

Probem is gone with the sights removed, so I suppose I can rule out a pinched nerve.... I noticed that I tend to angle my head away rather than facing the front while resting it on the cheekpiece, causing my sighting eye (left) to be further away from the sight than my right eye. Could this be causi...

Gotcha BGC, but same thing applies with the breathing and stretching, etc. It aids in acheiving a confident, comfortable mind set before a competition. 'With Winning in Mind', by Lanny Bassham, really highlights the mental aspects of sport and how to cope mentally with nerves, equipment problems, et...

There should be no muscle tension at all when shooting - you should be relying on your skeletal structure as much as possible to support the weight of the rifle. I also have a strong pulse - it should not bother you if you find a position in which your are relying on your skeleton. Remember to fire ...

Hi Gary, thank you for the reply. I have recently visited an eye doctor, and he confirmed that my eyesight is in good shape. Forgive my wording, what I meant was that I shoot left - I am actually right handed, left eye dominant. Front aperture is fairly tight on the bull, but not overly so; I have n...

Vision Problem - Dizziness when looking through sights

I am having trouble with my eyes when looking through the sights. I find (I am left handed) that when I look through the sights my vision starts to spin; I lose focus on the target and start to feel dizzy. I put the rifle on the rest and breathe slowly, then get back into position - but the same thi...

boots

I own a pair of Perfect Style Sauer Boots, and have never had a regret. I find they fit thinner feet quite well, whereas the Kurt Thunes I once used were very wide, and hard to cinch up tight enough - they are good boots for a person with wider feet. On the Kurt Thunes, there is also a wider flat sp...
