RWS Hobby

Hi, I've been doing some pellet testing and found that RWS Hobby's seem to shoot ok in my Benelli Kite Young. And the cost is very low, $45 shipped for a sleeve. But I will not buy them again. The amount of lead flakes per 500 pellets is veryhigh compared to Vogal. A tin of Vogals seems to have abou...

useful statement?

I would have more respect for this statement if it was not posted anonymously.

Even with convoluting factors the results are interesting, especially the 30m results... hard to argue with them...

Re: 2 points

Great work! I would not have guessed the results for the 30m test. The 10m test is also interesting. BTW, this is not true: I believe the test would be TOTALLY void if you knew when you where shooting bad pellets. Unless it was done in a clamped down gun. A test may be flawed without it's confidence...

on this subject...

I would like to try a strait shoe on my Benelli Kite.
Would any of the triggers on this page work:

The clamp style seems to be the same... but the size would have to be close enough...

Hi,

I just started shooting the 900 event. I am looking into other rapid fire events.

The Colt is beautiful... but if I modified it would it be competitive?

Thanks,
Vin

Colt Match Target Rapid Fire Pistol?

Hi,
Should I modify a Colt Match Target or buy another pistol for competition?
I will be using an Aimpoint 5000 XD.
Thanks,

From Mary the optician...

I highly recommend anti reflective coating for both sides of your shooting lens. Ask for multi layer hydrophobic and oleophobic anti reflective coating. The lens material CR-39 has great clarity and is available at any optical shop. Any shop can cut the lens to fit your loupe. Be aware that CR-39 sh...

Just a beginner...

I'm just starting out and I use a scope for every shot... It's a little adictive but it also gives me some cause and effect information. The Rika gives me even more information but it is distruptive to my training, where the scope does not seem to be. I've competed three times, each time without usi...

I'll try...

It's just so disharting for me to do the trigger progression method. It feels like I'm spraying pellets... but I will try it. I do like blank wall practice and it does seem to help.

Thanks!

Pistol Shooting As A Sport by Hans Standl

I like the book very much. I just read it in one sitting and the Rika showed an improvement in my trigger control: I move the trigger strait back to my aiming eye and I pretend that the projectile is moving slowly. His method of trigger progression to get the shot to break as the sight pictures stea...
