I'm especially looking for 50M shooting in WA, OR and Idaho? It looks like international pistol shooting is waning, except for colleges and universities.
Thanks,
Ed

Scoring?

How are the 50M, free pistol targets scored? When I did shoot, there was a possible of 600 points. Now it appears that the 60 shots are fired in 2-hours vs 2.5 hrs and the scoring goes in excess of 600 points (tenth of a point). IE: 580.6, 578.3, etc
Thanks,
Ed

Bill,
Many years ago, they were called 'Sectionals' and were fired at varied locations. The Big Shoot then was Black Canyon (Ben Avery) and then Los Angeles. Ed

Gentlemen,

What is a good source for the scheduled times and places for international pistol matches in the Pacific NW? Thanks

Gents,
Who, in your opinion, has the best prices on a Morini?
Thanks, Ed

Back when I did seriuosly think about competing (1978, 1980), the hot guns were the Hammerli 150, TOZs were almost impossible to get in the US, at that time. The Feinwerkbaus (air/spring - not CO2), were also top-of-the-line. It's interesting to see how the game has progressed and the gear improved....
