If it's just one range the relay will continue; why delay other 75 ranges?

I think it happens seldom during competitions in ISSF. And if the shooter receives a 10 as crossfire they usually won't disclaim it!

ISSF Rules 6.11.8.6 and further: If an athlete wishes to disclaim a shot on his target, he must report this immediately to a Range Officer. If the Range Officer confirms that the athlete did not fire the disputed shot(s), he must make the necessary entry on a Range Incident Report and on the Range R...

What about the sling? A lower placed sling on upperarm pulls the stock down in which your hand and arm are in between. Perhaps placing sling high up your leftarm might help.

I've mounted it on several positions on the barrel but it don't find many differences in values. If I place the sensor to close/next to my tube the reflection of the aluminum seems to interfere the signal. This results in a malfunction, not other values. It just doesn't works and will after I moved ...

Just wondering if there was some entusiast that created one fir himself.

I know the leather sling but like to have the webbing material and no holes to adjust length.

Russian rifle sling

My next project is the Russian rifle sling as it is used by Martynov and Khadjibekov. I couldn't find any for sale online, anyone else knowing where to buy? If not for sale it will become a DIY project. http://www.biathlonews.com/wp-content/uploads/2008-8-15-4-35-48-a49fda23526c43efb0336f2c71031ced-...

I use M18 but that's just because I'm used to it. Aiming with M22 gives me more errors so I stick with what I'm used to. Don't overrate the benefits of the crystal; I didn't experience any difference other than sight picture. The dark grey instead of thick black makes it easier for your eye to focus...

You can still see it clear; it's just dark grey (95%) compared to a metal ring. However, this difference makes it a little easier to focus on the inner ring and not get distracted by the thick black ring of the front sight.

I have the crystal and have better contrast; the ring is more clear. As I don't need to swivel or use a canting indicator I keep it as easy as possible. Remark; for the crystal you should also use the crystal inserts otherwise the benefits are gone

I only found one paragraph about crossfires and although not exactly stated like this it gives me the impression the shooter has to claim a crossfire on his/her target. The 'observer' will then act according to the rules. So the shooter has to claim a crossfire, most likely the shooter that 'receive...

It's article 0.11.4.2 (page 38). It states that crossfires during competition ar consired as a 'failed shot', no points given. Crossfire during sighters won't result in any deduction. If shooter A (sighters) crossfires on target shooter B (competition) shooter A will have a two point deduction. I ca...

I have two locations in which the Scatt-files are saved. If you install to D: instead of C: the saves will also be in a different location.

Search your computer for .scatt or .aim files. It has to be somewhere.

We experienced a major difference with f.e. the Precise stock; the Anatomic is straight un to the shoulder. The Precise has a short angle which makes it much easier to position your head relaxed in the line of sights. With the Anatomic this is much harder. However, the wood makes it for smallbore mu...

I have only used the MEC free position. Although all the different ways to setup look great this buttplate is also hard to fix. Especially in prone, were you have more pressure on the hook, the angle of the top part might change. Therefore I greased all screws to prevent such from happening. Taking ...

Bedding Anschutz 2013

This winters project is bedding an Anschutz 2013 action in an Anschutz SuperMatch wooden stock. I read a lot on the internet and watched videos on YouTube but don't find any specific related to this rifle-action combo. Is anyone here familiair with bedding this barrel? Pillar-bedding seems better bu...

It seems to be a software issue. Try to reinstall the Scatt software; check scatt.com for latest version and make sure you have all drivers installed.

If this doesn't work I would suggest to try a different computer.

If it's hardware; where is your sensor mounted on the rifle?
