Re: Morini 162 ei cocking issue?

Pulling the loading lever full back should set the hammer to the cocked position. As the loading lever is moved forward there should be no load felt pushing the lever forward. If a forward load is felt then the hammer did not cock and has come forward with the lever. If this is the case then when fi...

Re: Pardini SP22 Fuel

With two different .22 Spec's, the general rule is European Pistol = European Ammo American Pistol = American Ammo (most will also run European Ammo) To get a European Pistol to run American ammo it usually needs gunsmith work. Basically magazine work (bullet length) and chamber ream (American Match...

Re: 25m RFP Proposed changes

Don't jump to conclusions, all we know is that the new rule book has been put back a couple of months.
Can still go either way.
Had no feedback from the ISSF meeting in mid Feburary.

Re: Olympic 10m which pistols?

The biggest failure point of any pistol is the NUT on the BUTT. Shooter's and Coach's that fiddle with triggers without knowing what they are doing. Take away the allen keys and the cheap leaky batteries and most problems are solved. Normal wear and tear is expected, springs soften, seals deteriate ...

Re: Trigger Stops

The pistol trigger stop helps with quick shooting and follow up shots. A Air pistol or Free pistol does not require a trigger stop, it may only help if your trigger collapses after the break. With Standard and Rapid it will help with the faster shots by shortning the trigger over travel. Beware if s...

Re: Steyr Evo 10 maintenance

Grease smeared on the surface of the O ring's is OK, plus a little on the tank threads. These are working surfaces. The loading lever also is a working surface, apply a little grease. Keep the firing hammer and channel free of grease and lube. Using the same grease makes it easy plus you do not want...

Re: Looking for my first Olympic airpistol

1/ Buy the best you can afford to buy. Good quality Airpistols all hold their value over the years. 2/ Buy something in current production, it will ensure parts for the next ten to twenty years. 3/ Buy something with local dealer support just incase something goes wrong. 4/ Mechanical vs Electronic ...

A038-A044-Complete-and-Spring-Reducer-Set.jpg The Pardini K12 pressure regulator uses a spring pile of 6 Belleville Spring Washer's back to back. The easy way is to replace the pressure regulator, the hard way is to find the replacement Belleville Spring Washer's of the right size. You could also r...

Re: 25m RFP Proposed changes

It will be very easy for the Rapidfire shooters to transition to Sport Pistol, they can use the same pistol, same ammo. Most rapidfire shooters I know also shoot some Airpistol as a training gun so the precision half should be no problem. Their training for the rapidfire section is basically the sam...

Re: Aiming

Agree, but also add breathing into the lift/aim. Inhale as you lift to a blank area just above the target. Aquire sight alignment ant sit on second stage of trigger. Small half breath while doing this in the overhead area and on a slow exhale lower into the aiming area, pause breath and squeeze off ...

Re: Storing cylinders

Pre charged pistol air cylinders should not be stored on the pistol or you can use a seperator/spacer to disconnect the tank from the pistol. This will allow the pressure regulator to be depressurised, giving a longer life to the spring pile of the regulator. As the tanks are storing static pressure...

Re: LP400 carbon

The LP400 is a competitive pistol and will shoot with the best of them. The trigger can be set up the same as any other competition pistol. The ideal setting is with 300 to 350g on first stage and 150 to 200g on second stage. With the factory springs the minimum second stage weight to work properly ...

Re: for pcp or co2 pistol

Most CO2's use a hammer to open the tank valve to discharge a shot. To protect the valve surface keep the tank on the pistol but do not cock the pistol, less spring strain. PCP pistols on the other hand have a pre charge chamber with a pressure reducing valve (spring operated), to reduce spring pres...

Import is easy, first apply for a B709 from firearms listing all the parts and exporter.
When you have the B709, send a copy to the retailer to include it in the parcel when posted.
Keep the origional to give to Border force if required.
You may be required to import via local dealer.

Since the origional post Manurhin has change hands first to Champis Arms and now to Beretta.
The MR73 Match is now be either a Single/Double action trigger.
