Yes. As far as I remember the Feinwerkbau 65 (and also the FWB 80) had a linearly actuated (mechanical) trigger. s.

Re: Double hard point trigger?

Hello everybody :) I'm doing Air Pistol 10m ISSF competition, I was reading the rules, and specifically, the ones about trigger weight. Now, it says that the trigger must weigh 500g, but it doesn't specify that the shot must go off exactly when the trigger reaches that weight. So that kind of trigg...

Re: Double hard point trigger?

Is it possible to measure the weight between the "500 grams point" and the "70 grams départ point"?

Re: trigger of Steyr Evo Lp10E

The trigger of LP10 E was very deformable. Check Visier April 2012 and have a look at the graph of trigger force-displacement. I did not like it at all. In the second stage you can feel the large deformation of the micro switch. I have tried the Evo E a few times, about 80 shots and I like the pist...

Re: trigger of Steyr Evo Lp10E

If I was in Italy I would look up the Match Guns people for a new air pistol!!!!! Italian shooters like Pardini K12 (but, quite franckly, I think the K2s was easier) and Morini 162E. For some unknown reasons Match Guns comes as a 3rd choice. Maybe because Cesare Morini discontinues his models so of...

Re: trigger of Steyr Evo Lp10E

Thanks. I thought that the Morini 162E trigger (micro-switch) was a very good trigger (smooth, no after-travel at all). But I tried the Steyr LP10E trigger (micro-switch) and it was better (that is to say the feeling was more dry but still smooth). Now I read that the Steyr Evo 10E has a different t...

trigger of Steyr Evo Lp10E

I've read that the trigger of the Steyr Evo Lp10E is different
from the trigger of the Steyr Lp10E (no micro-switch now).
What about the feeling? Is it much different (i.e. more clean
and short?). Thanks. s.

Re: on sub-conscious (automatic) shooting (paper)

It's interesting that of the shots classified as "automatic", the majority were "suboptimal", while "controlled" shots were more successful overall. If I read this correctly, the "controlled" aspect of these shots was paying attention to the sights, while tri...

on sub-conscious (automatic) shooting (paper)

It seems an interesting paper, technical, and difficult (at least for me). But worth reading

Re: Pardini K2 pistol info

What is the average asking price for a used K2 in good or excellent condition now a days? And is its reliable long term pistol? Thank you for the feedback! Here in Italy the average price for a good K2s (air) is about 400 / 500 euros. It is very a good pistol, a bit heavy. I would also buy a K2S co...

Vincenzo Tondo (Italy) scored 394 with FWB 65. The target was different in those years? Or the FWB 65 would be a good pistol also now? A good pistol, not among the very best ....

I cannot remember how good was the FBW 65 (and FWB 90). I mean the best score with that pistol, in those years. Thanks. s.

Well this sounds like a very serious issue, something with which Pardini must deal immediately! Have you had any luck in getting a remedy for the situation from them? How have you used the cylinder, if it's stuck on the gun, or is the gun just useless now with a stuck cylinder? No, I didn't call Pa...

I rather doubt the cylinder itself is sticking to the frame, as it does not touch the frame. The part which sticks is the threaded portion attaching the cylinder to the frame. Threads sticking is a common problem if they are not maintained well. I can say there are problems with *new* K10 cylinders...

We have been over this so many times. It is not the manufacturers' decision to put a 10 year limit on the cylinders, it is European law. Unfortunately. Yes. http://gsi.nist.gov/global/docs/EUGuide_PressureEquipment.pdf http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/sectors/pressure-and-gas/documents/ped/index_en.htm
