Re: hangup (LP10)
The point I'm trying to make is that the first stage travel adjustment screw has an effect on the second stage (its weight, its amplitude, its feeling). It can't. The second stage lever stays in the exact same place no matter what you do to the first stage. The only thing that changes is the compre...

Re: hangup (LP10)
Our first stage is now (say) 400 grams, because its travel is longer. Ok?? No. This is where you made the wrong assumption. The first stage is heavier because you are compressing it's spring more before you contact the second stage lever. Have a look at the drawing. Springs don't behave in the same...

hangup (LP10)
About LP10 (or LP1). Let us imagine our first stage is 350 grams and our second stage is 150 grams. Total weight is 500 grams, exactly. Now we turn unticlokwise the “first stage travel adjustment screw”, and we have a longer first stage travel. Our first stage is now (say) 400 grams, because its tra...

Re: Pardini K12 Cocking problem
Yesterday My new k12 stop cocking. I have teared it down and you can see: the absorber has small magnet and this magnet is fell off. Avery, I think you must write an email to Pardini info@pardini.it (do not forget to attach your photos!) asking for their help. I think they should send a new absorbe...

And ... I do not think top scores are improving, since the introduction of absorbers. Maybe I'm wrong ... Jongoh JIN did break the world record with the LP10! I've got the impression the absorber did not work consistently. Now the pistol is fine (to me). Yes this is what I was asking, I suspect the same with mine. I do not think absorber is useful in general. It is good for follow-through (if it is properly set). I prefer to keep the pistol 'still', when...

I removed everything, there is no absorber any more. I've got the impression the absorber did not work consistently. Re: Pardini K12 Cocking problem
Is it possible to shoot without the absorber? I've heard there are K12 shooters, in Italy, who removed the absorber completely. But I do not know if it is possible, really. (I removed the absorber from the LP10 mechanical, and I like it now).

Palamà is still working, as a gunsmith. Many say he is the best gunsmith in Italy. I would write an email, about these malfunctions, roberto@robertopalama.comJamesH wrote: Someone in our club has a Patro, it rarely works and has to be retuned with every change of ammo

Re: New type cylinder Pardini k12 ?
I do not think so (unless there are big problems with the old cylinders). Sometimes, trying to unscrew the old cylinders people damage the clamping screw on the frame of the pistol. It happened.pauln wrote: I have found mine hard to unscrew at times , are Pardini going to replace existing cylinders ?
