Re: STEYR LP10e circuit board

Nice job! Someday you might hear from me when my Pardini SP1 needs new components.

Re: Unique DES-69 Dot Mount

Thanks Rick and EDC for the reply and pictures. I'll probably use a universal barrel clamp contraption too. It shoots nicely with the iron sights for now but I want the ability to use a red dot in the future.

Unique DES-69 Dot Mount

What are the recommendations for a dot mount on a Unique DES-69? BME doesn't anticipate making them anytime soon.
Thanks,

+1 on Freelands through https://freelandssports.com/. I purchased a scope stand 4Q20 with the service and quality outstanding.

It’s sad to hear about CSS.

No worries about time as I plan to spend my extra time getting serious by poking random barn side holes in Rover's targets. It should be about fifteen minutes of fun so I have enough for my own targets.

Re: Toz-35 Box Fell Apart

I purchased a used Toz-35 case from Larry's just a few years ago for about $35. Shipping probably cost me just as much. While I realize he recently passed away, perhaps the store or whoever is helping to clear inventory may sell you one.

Good luck,

I'm about in the mid 40's and can relate to your experiences but with not as high peaks (yet because I'm too stubborn to put the guns away). Part of the shooting attraction for me was the possibility of shooting competitively in the 60's-80's. At matches, I regularly am amazed of a few '70-'80 year ...

I've found the recoil absorber on a LP-10 to be beneficial in allowing me to better focus on the front sight through the shot process. Occasionally, the recoil absorber "gets sticky" and doesn't move freely to the rear or needs to be adjusted for different pellet weights. The recoil and fl...

Thanks for pulling the data together and posting the summary. I have several grips for a Steyr LP10 but can't feel or measure much difference between a stamped M(edium) and a L(arge). The M is a newer Steyr style with the white plastic badge and the large is a CM stamped grip which I assume is an ol...

Another option; I use a welded T shaped plate with the press mounted to the horizontal and the vertical mounted in a vice. It gives me the height advantages of the Strong Mount but with quick dismount and rotation capabilities of a vice.

Recently, I saw a postal match on the Bullseye-L list that started in November. In the west, there is the postal run by Inland Empire Rifle & Pistol Club. Info is here: http://www.ierpa.org/

I was wondering too as it doesn't appear that close to a big airport either. However, it appears to be sited with: http://www.killoughshootingsports.com/. It is still a positive no matter where it is located.

You will find most of the shooters very helpful on this forum. I'm in the Northwest and have not seen either Tula or S&B components available. Maybe we are slower to get them. Typical large/small primers available locally for me have been Federal, Remington, and CCI. Some say there is noticeable...

Mark, The Pardini SP pistols have an inner and outer trigger adjustment as you describe and I'm assuming they are similar. The inner adjustment on the SP is with a small hex wrench. I either use the original tools that came with the SP or try one until it fits from my other assortment of hex wrenche...

Defective, possibly but I'm pretty sure that I tweaked the optics once by positioning and over tightening the mounting rings over the optics. I have since tried to be careful with ring placement and don't remove once installed. The horizontally split rings (like Burris Zee) allow me to remove the do...

Sounds like the optics have been tweaked. If occluding bothers you, remove the optic from the pistol, verify a double image(have some else check it too), and send back to Ultradot for repair.

We all have had similar fustration at ranges. Years ago I asked around and was lucky enough to have found several private ranges to shoot at that don't get regular shooters. Often, i'm the only one shooting which is good for practice but doesn't duplicate match pressure. I have found the routine of ...
