Reasons: 1. 0.358 HBWC did cause many barrels to bulge and still will unless you use a 0.356 - 0.357 HBWC bullets. Bulging barrels that are associated with HBWC is not from the sizing . Factory HBWC are midrange target loads that are loaded lightly with pressures just enough to bump up the skirt fo...

Your first image says it all....... your gripping fingers are angled back, not square to the front grip strap, at least your middle finger, not good. The finger that angles back is the middle finger and is very powerful. it is directly under the trigger finger. When the trigger finger is pressing th...

I'm a bit unsure of the areas I should modify. Could someone among you guys show me a picture with those areas outlined? Sounds like if you had a thick grip , you wouldn't have to add anything ..... First he says it's ok , then he says to add mud in an area that is obscure, He sounds confused . I w...

The original grip fit was too small, you then got an XL grip that was too big. Then you got an L that is still too small (excessive finger wrap). Ok, now you have 2 grips that are unsuitable . Not good, send the Large back to Rink and get the Large thick. You can always remove a small amount of wood...

I was probably being overly critical of rinks customer service or lack of it. Your posting is about the fit of the grip that was sent to you and the problems associated with fitting of the grip, not rinks service, so i deleted it. Back to your grip and the many good photos, it's clear to me that you...

If you must extend your fingers so much as in photo 1 in order to achive full contact with the grip, then it's too small. In figure 2 your fingers are correctly positioned but if your palm doesn't have full contact with the grip , again the grip is too small. You may be right about the thicker grip ...

I was wondering if it was too early to ask about no mindedness in pistol shooting

When Eric Buljang was coaching his Olympic team, he had T shirts made up this emblazoned on them

Looking for an old post : " 3 position shooting "

I think it was this forum where there was a post about group size in 3 position shooting @ 300 meters/yards. Does anyone remember or recognize this posting either here or another forum ? The discussion was to do with group size relationship with sight picture

This is a personalized view of what a perfect shot is, since I am not at that level I am working in steps to get there. Anything that helps move less is great.
Good effort in your viewpoint , don't give up

since that is the last moving point going forward
What does this mean? moving forward, what is moving ? forward ? what ?
since that is the last moving point going forward, if you consider that a grip should be static.

Again, what does this statement mean

The rear extension idea is to bring the rear sights to an area above the wrist or close by that point, since that is the last moving point going forward, if you consider that a grip should be static. I understand the first part of your statement , what is your point with the second part . What is t...

Image 5223 doesn't look right...... when the rim of the round is past the rear lips of the magazine , mag spring should be pushing the round out of the mag at this point behind the extractor. Once the round is positioned under the extractor the bolt will push the round up the ramp of the front lips....

Ruig. I have a solution . Cash in some silver and buy a couple of boxes of mixed factory ammo of your choice. The problem may likely be in the reloads, so with factory ammo you may find the pistol will function perfectly. There is a possibility that you may be trying to fix something that isn't brok...

The rim of the round doesn't appear to be under the extractor. Normally the bolt will push the round forward slightly and the magazine spring will then push the round up into the bolt recess and under the extractor. As the round is forced forward the rim will hit the rear lips of the mag and further...

Leave it as set until you gain a lot more experience of using the pistol. Dry fire it more than live fire. Don't get caught up in a trigger adjustment fiddling exercise too early in your 'career'. Good luck & enjoy IanR The best advice here sofar......... The pistol and ball bearing trigger in ...
