i find that my head position problems usually have to do w/ the buttplate not being where it should be. once that is correct, it seems that there is only one way to be comfortable.
just a thought.

thinking
i had this same problem. i would phych myself out and shoot poorly (usually towards the end of a target). you need to teach yourself how to not think in words. words are a distraction. during practice, only think in shapes (preferably concentric circles), and keepin your position the same. i drop 95...

i dont believe that it is either of those two things. i check my natural point of aim before every shot. i also have grown increasingly aware of my cant. that is what had been keeping me from shooting 100s last year. in the past couple of weeks, i have shot several 100s and nothign lower than a 97. ...

a lot of people gave me crap when i wanted to use riser blocks on the rifle i had previously been using. they said that it increases the angle of the sights and blah blah blah. but it mad eit more comfortable on that rifle and i shot much better w/ them its pretty much on an individual basis on whet...

guest- ill talk to my coach about my firing pin. i also checked my cheekpiece. it origianlly was angled down and i had to contort my head. so i flatened it out and lowered it a bit. it was a little low then, so i raised the front a bit and the back slightly. its very confortable and i can get my hea...

NO, the impact point does not always shift to the same spot. Its defferent everytime. It sometimes is as many as three times a target, but there are also targets that i shoot that my zero will hold No, it seems to change randomly. I didnt think to check all of the screws. I'll have to look into that...

Could it be my sights?
Hi, I have been shooting for a little over a year, mostly on a high school team. I had gotten my scores in the 98-99 range by the end of last year. I shot weekly in the offseason, but when the summer came, the program that I had been shooting in was cut off for three months. In that time, i purchase...

Twp makes a good point. on the rifle team that i shoot on, i see alot of kids trying to finick w/ the gun instead of practicing shooting. if you have the time to find the setting that you like, thats great, but if not stick to the wood stock. w/ air rifles, its a lot of personal preferance since rec...

federal
My school uses federal high velocity for practice. its just fine for practice, but we use lapua for matches. in the offseason, I use some of the leftover federal and wolf match. I used some winchester supe x the other day and that more than served its purpose.
hope this helps

bloop tube
I do mean a bloop tube, its just that FWB sights don't fit on the same groove thing as do Ans. sights.

FWB bloop tubes
Do non-company made bloop tubes exist with the right size threading for a FWB front sight? If so, where has them for sale and about how much do they cost?
Thanks,
Curt

knee pains
I am 15 years old, and have developing arthritis in my knees. Thus far, I have not been able to stay in position long enough to get a shot off. My knees only hurt when they are bent and have weight on them. Any suggestions? Under NRA rules, I could substitute in the next hardest position (OH), but i...

That was quick
Well thanks for the speedy reply! I wanna know how you knew about this already and how you knew what he is asking for it. I was not sure how good this new barrel was, which is why I was unsure of the price that was put on it. Thanks again.

Fair price
What is a fair price to pay for a FWB 2600 w/ about 4 years of use? It has been rebarreled in stainless and has the FWB sights on it. I need an in-all-honesty opinion here. Thanks.
