Suis Ascor print out
Is there any documentation on how to read the hard copy print out from the Suis Ascor system ? For the air pistol event, the print out would look some thing like : 1 -> 9P 45:20.66 10.73/ 3.01 What does "45:20.66" indicates ? I believe "10.73 / 3.01" is some sort of shot position...

I personally have not encountered any problem using Target Pistol. However, I am still getting a lot of 4, 5's so a flyer due to lousy ammo is not going to be some thing I will notice. However, the other shooters around all seem to think I should be using some other stuff instead, then again, these ...

Is RWS Target Pistol suitable for Free Pistol ?
Is RWS Target Pistol suitable for use as training ammo for Free Pistol ?
The only other "low cost" ammo I can get my hand on is RWS Rifle Match but I find it has a rather severe recoil.
Thank you.

How do I checked the fit of the grip ?
I would like to know how to go about checking the fit of the grip for Air Pistol / Free Pistol. What I was thinking of doing is to : (1) stand facing a blank wall (2) adopt the proper stance (3) raise the pistol into firing position (4) align the sight (5) close my eye for a few seconds (6) check th...

after talking with some of guys around here, the agreement is to file down the grip a bit to give more clearance for the rear sight. Fred is correct about the short Front Sight, one of the SP New in the club has a very short Front Sight and it means center hold was not possible on that gun. It seems...

How to modify the grip to lower the point of impact ?
Greetings, I was shooting a SP New and found the gun shooting too high, with the usual sub six hold, all the shots are going off the top of the target paper ! Adjusting the rear sight did not help much, the rear sight element is already bottom out on the grip. Can the grip itself be modify to lower ...

Greetings, The barrel / bolt contact pressure can be adjusted by : (1) removing the barrel sleeve / jacket ( the piece that the front sight is attached to ) (2) lossen the two barrel screw (3) close the bolt (4) shift the barrel back towards the rear sight until it made full contact with the bolt (5...

Looking at the Front sight
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/5326742.stm
the above article in BBC news seem to suggest that looking very hard at the Front sight might actually be counter productive.
Unforunately it did not say what can be done about it though.

Blue-tac is great for trying things out when modifying the grip. But in the long run, it is better to replace the Blue-tac with something more permanent. The problem is that Blue-tac do shift around a bit and get slightly compact over time. If you do not wish to use the Morini Grip compound, there a...

Once again, let me thank everyone for taking time to help me out. I have taken a closer look at the 208 manual and it seem to me that the trigger weight == sear enagement pressure . If this is true, then my course of action come this weekend would be : (1) de-grease the sear (2) increase the trigger...

should have RTFM
Oops, should have RTFM, the manual for the 208 clearly stated that sear enagement is NOT user adjustable ! Anyway, a little background info, I realized of course that such a weapon should be sent to a gunsmith. However, due to local reg and other issues beyond my control, that is not going to happen...

Sear adjustment for Hammerli 208
Is there anyway to increase the sear enagement on a early model Hammerli 208 ( S/no 206** ) ? From the 10P Files, it seem like the only adjustment available is the trigger weight. I would like to increase the sear enagement because the pistol have a tendancy to go "full auto" when the slid...
