New sights for Unique DES 96U
I need a wider front sight and rear notch for my Unique. I hate to destroy the orginals with a file and epoxy. Anybody have any idea who I should call? I would even modify another set of originals.
Thanks!

Tony, I had one of those belt buckle derringers. I had to push out with my stomach to get it to release from the buckle and fire. What fun! I don't know what happened to it. I'm so sad. I showed the video to my family members who were here for Easter and they said any kid would be locked up if they ...

Which Free Pistol do you shoot in competition?
The site only allows 10 choices; I tried to post 25 so I decided to make 3 polls. I'm sorry if your pistol isn't listed. Please add a reply to tell us about your choice and/or to add one that I didn't list. I am interested in your first choice when going to a match even though you may have several ...

Sending PMs
Does anyone else have trouble getting PMs to leave the outbox?
I sent a reply this morning at 6:30 and it is still sitting there. I've had other ones go right out and ones sent earlier waiting around. I asked Scott and he has no control over it.
Thanks!

Welcome to the world of shooting, C.T! The best way to get started is to find local club so you can see some pistols and get equipment advice. You may be able to find someone to let you try their gun. There is also loads of information on this site. Do a search on something you want to learn and rea...

My humble opinion is that a boycott would do little to hurt China. I believe more good would come from interaction of athletes---kind of like Hugh of Borg on Star Trek TNG ;>) It would be a shame to punish our athletes for what the government does. I know several Chinese here in the US and they comm...

A chrome TOZ would be cool! I'm a cleaner. My Hammerli 162 gets cleaned after every match. It's easy to do from the breech end with a coated rod through the hole in the grip. When I was shooting smallbore prone, I would clean after every 40 shot match. Most of us did. I was also aware that more bore...

Mike, I don't have air rifle experience, but .22 rifle instruction. When I was teaching (I started them prone) I was down with them watching their squeeze and follow-through. Invariable, when the follow-through was poor it was preceded by a jerked trigger. I would teach the squeeze and follow-throug...

Why PayPal?
I thought payPal and the parent company, eBay, were documented as being anti-gun. If that is true, why do I see so many people on here requesting payment for their equipment using payPal? I will not knowing give any of my dollars to fuel the efforts of the anti-gun goofballs.

Taurus PT 1911 .45
I'm looking for a .45 carry pistol, but would like to have the option to use it for bullseye at a later date if I decide to do that. Will the Taurus work for me at 50 yards with some gunsmith work? I don't like guns that don't shoot.
Thanks!
