MU 55 (1 E ?)
I was not aware that the russian MU55 (that letter "C" is actually a russian "U") was ever offered in an electronic version. Am I less well informed, or . . .

MG5 two stage trigger
Yes, this (old) technical video indeed shows a MG5 (mechanical trigger version) with two trigger springs attached, one for each trigger stage, each spring attached to separate levers, which are clearly visible. My MG5, made in late 2009, doesn't have any option for more than one trigger spring. Ther...

Re: LP400
Id just like to to point out that the 2 x 30g barrel weights are standard with the product.
JT
That's contrary to information given by the Walther representative, but nevertheless it's good news!
Thank's for clearing up this matter.

To absorb or not to absorb
Absorbers may introduce an additional variable, especially over some time. Well constructed absorbers, like that of the LP 10 may improve your scores. Not all absorbers are as "erfolgreich" as that of the LP 10. I have noticed that many world cup AP matches are still won with the Morini 16...

Re: About the new Walther LP 400 pcp Air Pistol
@ "throb": In my very first post of this thread I wrote:
The rear sight has no fingerknobs, a tool must be used to adjust the sight.
. The rear sight of the new Walther LP 400 cannot be adjusted with fingers only; a hex-wrench must be used. So, it's simil...

pros et cons of the W. LP 400
Ron, I did not get directly upset bu your CO2-filter comment, I just think it was a bit OT for this thread. That's all. The Walther 400 significantly better or not much better than the Walther LP 300? Let's consider the facts: ¤ Improvement: Grip "memory". This is a great leap forward for ...

Re: Walther LP-400
Also, the filter integrated in the refill adaptor has been "invented" by FWB. I had it when I had my C-20.
I am very aware of that. But then, I've never claimed Walther invented any filter. You are referring to the small filter integrated in the CO...

LP 400: Pressure regulator with filter
Annother novalty of the LP 400 is the filter incorporated into the pressure regulator. According to Walther this invention cleans the air entering the regulator. I do not know wether these filter is easy to dismantle and clean. Erratic pressure regulators ais not uncommon with older CO2-guns. and ev...

About the new Walther LP 400 pcp Air Pistol
Short time ago I hade the oppurtunity to examine and discuss, with a Walther factory representative, the relatively new Walther LP 400. Based on my experience from firing quite a few strings with this gun, I have the following subjective opinions about the pros and cons of this gun. The gun is light...

Re: Weird trigger on Mod 2 - what could be the cause?
The trigger seems to be inconsistent. Often pulling it it feels like I push against a wall with my finger - it stops moving. If I jerk it, the shot goes off. another problem came up: sometimes, when I touch the trigger (touch, not even pull) a shot goes off.
Two scen...

Worst gun?
The award for the most unfriendly gun ever must undoubtedly go to the CM102E, which never really worked, and nobody ever found out why - users were basically abandoned by the manufacturer. To anybody stating some gun is generally "worst case"; this is a dearing statement. For the statemen...

A post from Bolivia, Eduardo! Fine. I have visited Bolivia on a few accations. there are some gas and oil exploration going on in the are. Which .22 match auto is the ugliest?
Love/hate of the GSP. I was allowed to testfire the Walther GSP .22 in 1967 or ´68, I was told it was a prototype. Later I used a GSP during the Sports Pistol dicipline at the Nordic Championships in Goetenburg in 1970. I was a junior back then. I have owned two Walther GSPs, in .22 and .32. But I n...

Francesco: what is the staus of the CM 32?
My CM 32 has been in for repairs for 7 months. It was made during the first production run according to its very low serial number. Steyr .22
No, regretably no. Steyr does not at the moment offer a .22 match target automatic pistol. They are manufacturing an ingenious, but oddly looking and oddly functioning free pistol. A gun og high quality, but seldom seen at the competitions. If the demand grew, if we put "pressure" on them,...
