He said,

"Today when he showed me what was going on....we could not duplicated the problem."

It is the kid's hold, not the gun.

We have used the silhouette for years.
Leepers or B-Square mount to adjust elevation.

She says she's 125# and the gun is 14 #. Too way too heavy.

Are you sure that the gun is too heavy? It might just be muzzle heavy.

IZH won't break 500fps with any normal pellet. More than 430fps with 7.8gr.

The fact that the reservoir on these pistols is vertical (in the grip) does indeed make overfilling difficult. The valve will never see liquid unless you shoot it upsidedown.

Some mail order outfit is selling Gamo Compacts for $150 right now; It's much easier to shoot than any non-FWB springer. Trigger is a little mushy IIRC. The IZH is head and shoulders above ANY of these more affordable guns. They're 95% or more of guns costing 3-4X as much. But 3-5X better than ANYTH...

I guess I'm not smart enough to understand how overfilling the TANK could be a problem. The pressure in the smaller tank is still dictated by the temperature. If it safely holds 900psi at 85 degrees or whatever, it shouldn't matter whether the tank is half full or has nearly all liquid, the pressure...

Because on a rifle your cheek holds your eye in alignment with the rear sight. We non-bullseye Philistines who shoot IZH 46s at little steel animals use a rear peep (in my case a Gehman). However, this setup is used only with the "taco hold" that mimics a rifle hold. Scores are typically M...

The AirForce does not compare to traditional match guns.
Regarding number of shots per charge, Walthers 300BAR guns advertise 350-400 shots per 200BAR charge. With a 300BAR charge they should shoot forever.
Stick with traditional guns from Anschutz, FWB, Steyr, Walther, etc.

If your CO2 tank lacks a siphon tube, you absolutely have to hold it valvedown for a proper fill.

Horsefeathers!

Core drills?

What the hey?

The piston seal holds the same pressure, pellet or no pellet.

The valve seal passes the same air at the same pressure, pellet or none.

The breech seals see less pressure with no pellet, so what the devil are you talking about?

Never laid eyes on one, but the entry guns from Walther have, I believe reversible bolts , the LG30, and the Walther produced Hammerli AR20 claims to be ambi. Sights could bear upgrading, but the list price is under $900. I believe FWB has an ambi or LH convertible entry level gun for about $1250, l...

Super, my impression of Standard pistols is that on average, the grip angle tends to be more 1911 like than free/air pistols, which is where most of my limited experience lies. I don't shoot SP. On average, I feel like APs and FPs have that droopy broken wrist thing going on, along with the set trig...
