Re: Mg2
As GWhite has mentioned there is a learning curve of do’ and don’ts that makes ownership of the MG2 more tolerable. But in nearly all cases it results in a “ love hate “ relationship in which you have to live with the inner demon telling you that it may malfunction on the next shot. I have owned fiv...

Re: GSP500
GSP was reliable if nothing else. It had terrible, front heavy and ungainly balance and a rear sight blade to be laughed at.
However as the previous message has mentioned, if reliability is ongoing and all the other design issues have been addressed I will be one of the early owners.

Re: Mg2
The magazines are carbon fiber, and because they are tubular and sit forward of the breech, they don't get very dirty. I don't recall cleaning mine more than once, and I've never had a malfunction attributable to the magazines. The MG2's have their quirks, but the magazines aren't a big deal. One i...

Re: GSP500
It appears that they are continuing GSP500 support only and may/have ceased production of the SSP and GSP Expert.

Re: GSP500
I just left Walther site and the SSP as well as the old GSP are both missing. Does this mean that the SSP has been discontinued ?

Re: Cleaning walnut grips
I have good results by cleaning with Shellite , rubbing down with 0000 steel wool and finishing with Danish oil and rubbing back between coats with 2000 grit wet and dry paper.

Re: Better groups on blank target
I agree with this diagnosis. I've been using 6 o'clock hold for years (center fire) - making the transition from 6 to sub-6 will take some doing I suspect. Not if you accept that this is excellent advice....blind faith and it will happen after your first five shots. The only obstacle in adopting he...

Re: Pros and Cons of Electronic Trigger
I believe answers to this question should be from people who have owned both manual and electronic triggers.
As an owner of both in .177 and .22 I prefer the electronic trigger and have had no trouble with the E, but have had problems with manual triggers over the years.

Re: Unfastening the very tightly screwed PCP Cylinder
If you do lube it make sure to use silicon grease or your problems may include degraded o rings.
A piece of thin rubber counter matting often provides better grip and the cylinder removal is much easier.

Re: Meisterkugelyn Pistol 4.49 size 7.0 grain
Why would you worry Brent...if accuracy is not the issue, the larger ( by a bees dick ) pellets may seal better and fps helpful. The size is a matter of pellet insertion effort, not an accuracy issue.
The 4.49 just is just easier to push into my Evo, that's all.

Re: Meisterkugelyn Pistol 4.49 size 7.0 grain
Apart from that unless you have considerable Ransom rest DNA as part of your physiological makeup in the real world of standing, holding a 950 gram AP out in front of you there will be “bugger all” differences in your results unless you allow your subconscious to dictate such. Hell any minor deviati...

Re: Pardini & Rapidfire
Reliable? The Pardini often malfunctions more so than, perhaps, a Walther SSP. My Pardini had a better track record regarding malfunctions than my Walther SSP or SSPE. Only marginally but I had more confidence using the Pardini. I also don’t think it’s success is due solely to marketing as I found ...
