tleddy,,,,I bought your Hammerli 162E. Not sure if you remember me or not? I have 3 sets of the old Clearsights,,,,,,,,there isn't a day at the range if I have them out, I don't have offers to buy! I simply can't shoot "irons" without the use of Clearsight.

Do it man!!

I own 6 Marvels. I shoot Ceiner mags in all of them except for one unit I have mounted on a SA frame,,,,it will not work with Ceiners, for that one I use the Metalform. The Ceiners load real easy too.

Wolff has the springs, they are the same spring as the S&W model 41. I assume you are looking for a recoil spring.

I have and use the style you have shown with the loupe. I have the older "original" ones know as Clearsight. I could not shoot open sights without such a critter. I have tried the iris, and it seemed to cause distraction to me being "behind" that iris. Just my opinion, you have t...

OK, I will throw some more mud in this mess. I use a Clear Sight,,,,,,,,different from and iris for sure. It DOES allow me to focus on the front sight, and it DOES keep the target blurry. I can NOT shoot iron sights without this critter as I can not get a good focus. I have different + lenses for th...

My thoughts on the reduced arc of motion is that POSSIBLY since I had decreased the muscle tensions in my hand due to the grip being a bit tighter, this in turn reduced the overall muscle tension exerted and helped me to decrease the WOBBLE.I guess I am wondering at this point if that is possible #1...

Gripping the free pistol

I shoot a Hammerli 162E, and recently a friend passed a comment to me while we were shooting regarding grip pressure. I tightened up my grip adjustments to the point where the pistol holds me instead of my hand "squeezing " to hold the pistol. I only had a short time to try this but I noti...

The ( color ) of the lube would be what would cause concern for me. If the color has changed,,,,what else changed as well? Once the degradation process has begun, who is to say what value the (lube like substance) has at that point. I was offered a full case of Eley Target Piatol about 2 months ago ...

I am sad to see that one of MY personal favorites did not make the "top ten" list. That would be to make sure you "scope" all the other competitors targets to see how well they are doing,,,,how do they do that?

This whole thing of using ECIs and muzzle direction has become a real hot topic in a few forums. Here are my experiences. #1 A close friend and shooter had a Marvel in his box and another shooter asked to see it to show another individual a Marvel. When the gun was removed from the box, it had one i...

My email from Eley

Hello Ron, You are right, many of the older labels have been removed in the rationalisation for 2008... -the old labels were just that, exactly the same basic product but with a different name, -therefor pistol shooters can still have their same ammo, just a new name and colour on the label to get u...

Correct on the specs, Tenex Pistol and Match OSP are the ONLY ammos now at 1030 FPS, and match Pistol remains at 1000 FPS. That 1030 FPS sure was nice for free psitol. ALL the other ammos I see there now are 1085 FPS, and to me that's just too hot for free pistol. Maybe I am doing something wrong? I...

I had seen the new product range before ( yesterday) and from what I can see the ONLY way I can get a softer ammo like a 1030 FPS is to go to the Match and Tenex lines. That to me is just way out of line for my ability level. I was able to shoot Pistol Standard out of my Hammerli 162E with good resu...

I looked at the the so called new line for 2008. It would APPEAR to me that a bunch of the older ammos will no longer be made???? Such as Pistol Standard. Any one else see something that I may be missing? It kind of looks like if you are going to shoot Eley it will be high dollar stuff or nothing. I...

I had a model 41 that I was TRYING to use Aguila through also. I took a 6 lb recoil spring and had cut up to 6 coils off of that and it would still only function 95% of the time. It would however function just fine with CCI Standard. I have also realized that there are some very soft lots of Aguila ...
