Walther GSP Expert stripping problems
G'day all, I shot my new walther GSP expert for the first time today and I am quite happy with the accuracy and reliability of the gun. However, there are two issues. 1) When I disassembled the weapon for cleaning I tried to remove the barrel weight and in doing so, I distured the position of the tw...

Semi high speed ammo?
Regarding ammo like RWS's R100 and Winchester's T-22 target which have a higher muzzle velcocity than Eley EPS and Lapua Midas but fall short of high velocity class rounds like CCI minimag, are the former safe to shoot for extended training (e.g. years) in a match handgun like a Feinwerkbau AW93, Ha...

alternative free pistol
Dedicated free pistols are very expensive in my country. Hence, while I save up to afford one, I need a cheaper alternative. As revolvers are also usable for centrefire pistol, is there anything in the ISSF 50M free pistol rules that bars me from using a stock .22LR revolver with a 6" barrel? T...

Has anyone heard of the RWS Super Pistol 250?
http://www.rws-munition.de/en/sports...e.htm?navid=29
Anyone tried it?
I'll thinking of buying a brick next tuesday for US$113 to try out.
If it's crap please holler asap so that I can save my $$.

magtech .22 ammo?
I know that Brazilian CBC ammo has a good reputation as budget centerfire fare, but has anyone here ever shot Magtech (magtech is the commercial brand of CBC) .22LR before? I believe that their most common round is a standard velocity 40gr solid point.
Is .22LR magtech good stuff or trash?

Walther GSP Expert
One simple question....
was the walther GSP expert EVER chambered for the .32 S&W round? I know that it is comes in .32 S&W long versions and .22LR versions but was it ever chambered in .32 S&W as in the parent cartridge of the .32 S&W Long?

Illustration Failed
To Steve Swartz, The "kids" I supervise together with their instructor are 17-18yrs old. To everyone, I conducted the illustration today in front of my first class of 5 youth shooters today and it bombed. After explaining the 5 main rules, I loaded a CBC 98gr .32 S+WL wadcutter (box says 7...

I know that I might sound longwinded but please bare with me..... When I was in the Army, the instructors would give us a demonstration of the M-16s firepower by shooting at logs, concrete slabs, watermelons and even a kevlar helmet. The idea was not so much instruction on what could or could not st...

non standard pistol for free pistol
As none of the gun dealers in my country stock specialist pistols for the 50m free pistol event and no one is prepared to sell me their pistols second hand, I have a simple question. According to the ISSF rules, can I use a 5 shot semi-automatic .22LR pistol like the Walther GSP for the 50m free pis...

porting?
I own a S&W model 686 revolver and plan to use it for 25m centrefire pistol shooting .38 special HBWCs. One small issue though.....the barrel is ported. Will this disqualify the pistol?

Same brand, different specs?
Is it possible that the same brand and model of .32 S&WL ammo manufactured about 15 years apart could have slightly different case specifications and even be loaded to a different velocity? I have shot fresh magtech ammo out of my Erma Werke ESP-85 and out of 285 rounds only 1 had a light firing...

Buying a Hammerli
I have been offerred a Hammerli SP20 for sale. It is new and unused and came from a production batch in 2003/2004. The pistol is chambered in .32 S&WL and the price is US$1468. To all SP20 .32 S&WL owners out there........ what technical problems if any are inherent to SP20s? How durable is ...
