Great she got it back.

Did you notice the guy only got 88 days weekend jail time for assault with a deadly weapon????

A career criminal that probably won't even face the gun charge, just "stolen property".

Re: When is recoil felt?

There is a write up at; http://www.shootingwiki.org/index.php?title=Understanding_Recoil Interesting writeup. I was not aware that there is a .357mag autoloader on the market. Who makes the pistol shown in the illustration? The 'good news' is that your body cannot react to the recoil by the time th...

Re: great feedback

I appreciate you all chipping in. I think what you said is very significant about minimal gains. I'd like to try the guns you mentioned some day. I like to tinker but so often I find that it's hard to improve on factory designs. My Izzy keeps getting more accurate. I wonder how that could be? I cha...

I do the same.

Lately I shoot a free pistol often enough to where I only shoot on at a time in SF Bullseye.

Just guessing. Let us know how you make out.

I would use the lightest weight rings and dot. On my S&W 41 I use a Millet 1" and aluminum ring similar to the ones on Larry's sight. It has been mounted for about 7000 rounds with no problems. Before the 1" I had a 30mm Millet mounted for about 50,000 rounds and never had a problem. I...

Here in CO my friends that use CO2 have issues on cold days. If their gun is in a cold car on the way to the range for any length of time or the range is cold in the morning they seem to have pressure issues. My Styer LP2 seems to have no such issues. Well Dog, it would seem that your CO2 friends n...

Adding weight to an A/P

Can you use tape weights in competition or other temporary way to add weight?

I have an LP2 and thought I would just add a little bit of sticky wheel weights to to the cylinder.

We have an NRA sectional in January and I don't want any friction from the ref.

2650plus could probably tell us.

I thought it was odd having sighters when I started A/P and F/P.

really only the camo bit that has changed. Clothing made of camouflage material is prohibited.[/i] Spencer They would have been smarter to say that military or paramilitary clothing is prohibited. So, a girl in pink camo pants is not allowed, but I can turn up in full black SWAT gear OK? Don't worr...

Well Steve, today I was dealing with a wandering NPA in Free and Air pistol. I need to work this out before January for a sectional. I started in Conventional and have a perpendicular stance to face of the target. Today I just couldn't get it together. Shooting once week and no dry fire seems to be ...

No, you may put one on your non-shooting hand to keep it warm though.

Prices for components has gone up quite a bit.

These days if you have brass, figure:

$.10 per bullet
$.03 per primer
$.012 per 4 grains of powder.

So, about half price for handloaded match ammo.

YMMV

I've released bolt and recycled it - no effect. I haven't tried to adjust the travel adjustment. Can the adjustment be made now, after the cylinder has been charged, and then merely recycle the bolt? Thanks, Dan Point it in a safe direction if it is cocked and you are going to mess with the trigger...

Check the over travel adjustment.

If there isn't enough over travel the gun will not fire.
