Re: Crosman Challenger PCP vs. Air Force Edge
Hello FKW, I would dismiss any accuracy testing of these two ARs that is not done from a vised platform. The very nice groups (off a dead shot bag and rear rest) produced by my Challenger 2009 pellet testing sessions were entirely repeatable, so you ignore that information at your own peril. Both t...

I have the Challenger 2009, and while testing pellets, shot it from a Caldwell Deadshot bag and rear bean bag (not exactly benchrest). Everything looked as good as you'd expect from a 10 meter gun, and the better four-shot groups looked like one slightly enlarged pellet hole (it liked the 7 grain R1...

I bought one of the Crosman Challengers (the new PCP models) and have been real happy with the accuracy (rested it's pretty much every shot in the same hole). I don't know about the dimensions of your HP rifle, but the Crosman's pretty adjustable. From what I've read, the Edge has a nice dry fire fe...

Panic buying and materials shortages happened. Ammo manufacturers are going full tilt, yet because the demand from hoarders (apparently afraid they won't be able to buy ammo) has gone through the roof, the stuff is hard to find. I managed to grab a couple bricks of SK Standard Plus, but I'd like to ...

Pressure...
Personally, using both CO2 and Air is not a feature for me ..... I'd rather have seen them go air only & get the pressure up to support more shots. One of the "features" of the Discovery platform is the low pressure (2000 psi), which does realistically allow someone who isn't Hulk Hog...

New Crosman 3-Position PCP rifle
This looks interesting - a three-position rifle from Crosman using the Challenger stock and the Discovery powerplant:

I'd be surprised
They're testing for an EPO variant - a red blood booster used by endurance athletes - and I doubt that drug would have too many benefits for a shooter.

Crosman Precision Diopters
For anyone who's looking for the Spanish-made gamo diopters, I just bought a second pair of Crosman Diopters from Pyrmayd Air, and they're not only made in Spain, but they actually came in an El Gamo box.
$60 for front and rear sights.

Update: Crosmn Sites Made in Spain?
As an update, I just laid my hands on a pair of the Crosman Diopter sights (includes front and rear, and they look identical to the expensive Daisy sights).
Based on the conversation here, I thought they'd be Chinese- sourced, but the box said "Made in Spain."

Crosman Diopter sights fit Daisy?
For a complex set of reasons I am not going to go into here, I'm wondering if the front and rear sights from a Crosman 2000 (which look a lot like the Daisy Gamo copies) will fit the Daisy 953/853 rifles (including the front)?
Thanks!
Thanks!
