Tanner

I have seen some 6BR and 308, but never shot them. They sure looked wonderful from overall design style, metal and wood fit. Tanner is sure a high end rifle to own. Our club members said Tanner's trigger is a special design that can be adjusted by fingers without tool. It is a complete package for I...

Loosen the action screws for storage

May I have you share an opinion on a proper way to store a match rifle, loosen the action screws or not?

Assuming you have a favorite action stock torque tension, do you keep your rifle assembled at the all time or loosen the action screws until shooting?

Thank you.

Interesting, I like the test you have done. The summamries indicated a 9% degradation in grouping for damaged pellets. I will not use the term accuracy since the targets showed spreads significantly. The main interest for me to read about was the standard deviation, perhaps there was not a mention o...

I would suggest go for both events. The range is the same and the satisfaction / frustration are the same as well. Here is what I suggest: Get a FWB 300 or a SSP air rifle with all bells and whistles attached. Get a shooting sweater and jacket to start. Find a good pistol either Spring, SSP, CO2, or...

I am aloso wondering if any riflemenn have tested these ammunitions to see if the performance match up to the big sticker price.

For Eley and Lapus users, these may be the alternatives.

Thank you so much for the reply.

It seemed difficult to come up with a specific information about the pull length from manufactures. For those who have these current high end match air rifles, would it be possible to take a couple of measurement to share as a comparison?

Much appreciated.

Match Air Rifle Pull Length

I am looking for a most current match air rifle that has the shortest pull length; would you please advice a model between Walther, Feinerkbau, Anschutz, or Steyr?

Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for sharing your club information. I see many Grunig rifles at 300 meter pictures. Many of us here use Remington 700 action and Anschutz stock to customize a 300 meter 3P rifle. There are many superior components available for Remington 700 action on the market. The Europeans origi...

I am curious; how many of you shoot 300 meter 3P actively? Do Smallbore and Air shooters also shoot high power 3P, International regulations? I have seen some of the US shooting team's outstanding performance in the past when they were visiting Minnesota. It was possible to shoot into 10cm ring in s...

Lead Dust

May I consult about potential lead dust collection caused by air pistol shooting in basement? It is winter in Minnesota; cold is under stated. I am planning to have the pellet trap placed in the back of the basement where is quite enclosed. There isn't much of air circulation. With the furnace near ...

Please check these links for your reference: http://www.mgfc.org/ http://www.mrra.org/ We are associated with these clubs. Yes, it is going to be a great shoot. It will be liked a "Big Brother" from air rifle match. Further more, it will be great if we can have some women shooter participa...

Anschutz sight

I would think the front sight fits as well, since rear sight fits like a perfect marriage with a Walther action.

Good shooting!

Walther KK200

I have recently purchased a Walther KK200 with some upgrades; Border barrel and KK300 trigger were added. The stock provides fantastic adjustment options. The sight is acccurate and tight. The butt plate set is solid and easy to adjust. I love the hand rest adjustment for height. The trigger can dry...
