Shooting sweaters often have reinforced elbows, and the seams will be located to not cause irritation to the shooter. They also look cooler than a sweatshirt.

In reality either one works fine.

For the German target rifles I teach my shooters to use the right hand rule of thumb. Take your right hand, have your thumb point the direction you want your shots to move. (ie if you are shooting to the right and you want your shots to move to the left, you point your thumb to the left.) Your finge...

I've never done it.

But I've seen it done at a scout camp that was shooting CO2 rifles. They had a bulk tank plumbed into 6 rifles. It really kept the firing line moving without having to stop and change/fill cylinders.

I don't think it's necessary for individual practice.

Sophomore in high school isn't starting early, it's starting very late. But anyhow, my suggestion for a rifle, Get an Anschutz 1912. They are a great all around rifle. All the adjustment you need. They are a great weight for most shooters and if you think they are a little light it's a whole lot eas...

Why don't you contact the barrel manufacturer and see what they say?

I would think they would know their barrels the best and what if any break in they need.

We've got about 8-10 kids in our club shooting 8002's either the CMP or Club model. Current pricing is about $1,500 for the CMP or club model. Aluminum stocks are higher. 4 of them have had to go back for repairs, 1 of them has gone back twice and 1 has gone back 3 times. We've got over a dozen kids...

Umm leaving it on the back seat of the truck wasn't the smartest of moves, albeit it in a locked case. Almost certainly an opportunistic thief who spotted a case in plain view. Rob. From what I've read on other sites it was not in plain view, it was under a bunch of other stuff in behind the seat o...

We have about 8 of the 888's.

Other than o-rings and a few burst disks or the ends coming off the CO2 cylinders we haven't had any problems with them.

All those things seem to fall under the normal wear and tear parts replacement.

We have a Daisy 888 at our club that was cut down for a small shooter.

It's pretty easy to shorten the stock on them. She still won't have the strength to shoot it off hand, but it will work well for supported shooting.

And you'll get a lot more shots out of a cylinder at the lower velocity.

No problem with that here in VA. Plenty of heat and humidity. WE shoot outdoors during the summer, and our air rifle range has no AC in it.

Dawn, My daughter went to the Vermont camp last summer. Probably going again this summer. The Advanced Junior Camps are great. And I know some of the folks flying out there to help put on your camp. I laughed at my daughter for wanting to fly to Hawaii for a Shooting camp. She just wants to go to Ha...

I don't know that I can really give you good numbers. I have 43 kids registered on my team at the moment. Of those 23 are new this year (started since September 2006). Of the new kids I'd say 5 are missing in action or haven't shown up for more than a month. We had a huge influx of new shooters this...

Call Bill Earnest. He makes tubes with a built in barrel tuner. Basically a small brass weight that can be moved back and forth in the bottom of the tube. That way you can adjust the tube to tune the barrel harmonics. Bill Earnest 570-797-4872 Oh and it should cost you much less than $300 from him a...
