Re: Get stuffed!

Yeah i got that email too This is happening bcs we have lots of lousy leaders in our USAS And those are not defending our sport, maybe Jim Henderson can make a ding into the current culture. The idea is: International pistol shooters can not shoot world class finals level scores, we understand that ...

Re: Could Somebody Explain USAS Selection Process

Also, even if you win and qualified to the team, I "believe" you need to have shot a 582 in AP for USAS to pay for your travel ticket and expenses. otherwise, you certainly can go to represent the USA team but you have to pay on your own. disappointed? yes I was,,, I think with a miracle, ...

Re: World Cup Selection April 1-6 ,,, Free Pistol???

Interesting, somebody told me that even Free Pistol "may" be out of the Olympics,, there are still the World Cups so,,, keep shooting, I guess, that might not be the case,,, it looks like FP will or may, entirely die. beautiful sport indeed, and beautiful discipline FP, but it seems few wi...

3P rifle in Arizona?

Hi all, Are there any 3P rifle matches (adults) in Arizona? Phoenix area? I only see prone all around, and 3P for Juniors mostly. 3P used to be very popular, it seems today that only juniors are the only ones shooting it (thanks to college programs), but once they are out, they are also out of 3P ri...

Air Rifle 3P with Scope? in Arizona?

Hi all, Haven't shot Air Rifle since high school, in smallbore at NRA matches the scope is permitted on the anysights class...(I think), what about Air Rifle? is there such a thing as Air Rifle Any Sights? I mean, at NRA level , I know at ISSF it is considered impossible. Can I show up with a scoped...

I lost hope. you simply cannot practice olympic pistol on either indoor or outdoor public/open range. people will shoot 45 combat style at 3 yards or so, etc, etc. on the open range, they will empy their AR 15 magazine as fast as they can, or their AK 46s, or hunters are sighting in their 7mm magnum...

Hi all, remember that every State has different laws,, most of them are pretty similar, but always double check. border check point is federal, but city police may have a different say. as somebody said,, you may have more problems comming back to Canada than entering the US. to my knowledge,, you n...

Air Pistol Repeaters; Rule Book

Hi all, I can't quote the ISSF rule book for 10m air pistol , but as I remember the rule is to load one pellet at a time. With the advent and popularity of repeaters such as the Steyr LP50, does anyone have had any experience in that regard. Did the rule book changed, or the match officials are allo...

Hi all,

Your match sounds like an interesting one to go. Can you tell us about your facilities. I see, you will shoot one shot per target? how are the targets arranged?

or,

How many shooting bays do you have?
Do you have manual/electric carriers?

thanks,

Hi Johny I am glad you are enjoying shooting in your country. Gun laws here in the U.S. has become very confusing and complicated for the past 20 or so years. We have Constitutional laws, Federal (country), State and City laws. every State is different and every city is different, in some States you...

Thanks Finprof for your reply, your accounts confirm my suspicion that all pistol shooters are willing to go in lenghts in order to enjoy the sport. Hi all, I agree with Orpanaout, the M4 looks cool,, very cool and the price is very attractive, thanks for the feedback we all wanted to hear before purchasing it from the CDNN site. But, sometimes I think it is better to stick with what is considered all time tested and proven. I have a buckmark wi...
