Can only agree with Nicole!
Have tried others...not nearly as good. Have tried printing out...terrible and the "proper" stock is expensive...not to mention printer ink! Cost for the good stuff is not all that much. Penny-wise/pound foolish. As our host reminds us "Quality has no regrets". IMHO CraigE

K2s
Have about 10K pellets thru mine. I really like the pistol a lot. Only issue was brief and that was discharge of air on close of breach. Phone call to Larry Carter set it straight. The sear is set very delicately from the factory and a small (1/4 to 1/5 ) resolved it. I am very happy. All the adjust...

I would really like to see these glasses. I agree with Scott......a hat IS very personal and even those of us with very little hair can sense when one is misplaced by a hat that's askew. MHO, YHSMV(your hat size may vary).

I didn't intend to poke into a hornets' nest, but
for those following this thread: I have adjusted to 540g and groups are the same or better. All I was really trying to accomplish was to be certain of compliance, not achieve some mystical magic release. That happens with training, not mechanics. Thanks to responders for the help/suggestions. CraigE

Thanks for answer
Thanks for the clarification Larry. My goal is to have the trigger in compliance and set to 510g....using the middle of the trigger shoe. I can adjust higher should the consensus be that 10g is too close a tolerance. And yes, I am looking to be at USA NC. Thanks for the help. CraigE

Trigger question
I am adjusting the trigger on a Pardini K2s. I clearly understand which elements to adjust for anticipated results. My question: Is there a specific point on the trigger blade at which to place the weight to determine that release happens at >500g? What I seem to find is that placing the weight at t...

scale
you can use an low-tech spring/analog scale that weighs in ounce/half-ounce increments. Each ounce = 28.375 grams. One simple time with the calculator, and you will know what the max fill weight should be for the cylinder. Works well, reliable, needs no batteries, works for measuring postage too, AN...

Personal experience
While I don't use CO2 now, I found it to be very easy to manage. Simple postal scale (analog/spring variety) is more than adequate and can be bought for under $10. The initial outlay for a 5# bottle of CO2 (from beverage vendor) ran about $70. Refills (which were actuall exchange of tank) run about ...

Pistol in question is a Pardini K2s. Have increased the sear (screw "CA") per instructions to turn 1/4 turn CCW. This being done, trigger seems just a tiny bit "stiffer" and I was already at about 510 gm. The impetus for this adjustment was sudden firing on close of breach cover....

Trigger question
I would appreciate a bit of information: What affects on trigger weight adjustments (if any) occur with a slight increase (quarter turn) in sear engagement?
Thanks for any help. CraigE

Hi Dennis, I plan on shooting the PTO at Rochester. The early relay wouldl be most helpful to me if there are openings. I have a long drive after. Working out the logistics at the moment, but I am looking forward to shooting with you again. After a long time and some follow-up, I finally got number ...

I understand your indignation IF Paul were talking judges and jurors at a match. However, I read his post as referring to situations in litigation. And in that venue, I am always concerned about over reaction. This thread is an important one for all of us. We need to be careful to maintain a civil a...

Shooters have interesting persona among the ranks
Thanks to Poole for providing the link that provides the insight. Maybe we will someday get to the point where we discover smart, interesting PEOPLE instead of wise men and smart women. I have two daughters and two sons. Gender doesn't control how I love them nor how capable they've become. It does,...

In fact, the seals go REALLY QUICKLY if put away under pressure. I know from sad experience. The pistol is a "hot one" with higher than usual velocity as from factory. Grips....so so. Fairly nice trigger. Old technology and more a keepsake from the standpoint of US venture into making inte...

Therein lies the similarity with CO2
When CO2 (liquid as it fills cylinder) goes to gas, the pressure is approximately 800 psi. This is the "constant" pressure in a pistol powered by CO2 so long as there is some liquid in the cylinder. It is nearly the same as the "regulated" pressure of a CA pistol. All the other f...
