My humble opinion
Tommy, If all your shots are hitting on the left side of the target, adjust your sights. If some of your shots are hitting on the left side of your target, take a look at the AMU Wheel of Misfortune. It will suggest that maybe your finger is not on the trigger correctly. Also, do not try to pull the...

S&W revolvers
I own several Smith and Wesson revolvers, and for International Center Fire, they are just fine except that the hammer is big and heavy and the main spring is not too strong. This results in a long lock time. Follow through is critical. You must hold the revolver on target until the bullet leaves th...

MG2RF
Beevo, My MG2 has a serial number about 60 or 70 numbers higher than yours. I had no problems in the standard configuration, but I did upgrade to RF version. I have the mechanical trigger. I use SK Pistol Match because it is good and was cheap. After the first 500 rounds, I have had very few malfunc...

Home Defense
Joe Biden, Vice President of the United States, has publicly stated that he favors a pump action shotgun for home defense.
As far as I am concerned, that settles the argument. Lets all buy one, if you dont have one already.

MG2RF
Muffo,
I agree.
My previous pistols are a S&W 41 and a IZH 35.
The MG 2 RF recoils like the IZH 35, but has a better trigger and an adjustable grip angle.

Modifications
Muffo, I have owned a MG2RF for several years now. For International shooting sports, the gun needs no extensive modifications, just a few easy to do adjustments. I did the following to my pistol: 1. Adjust the grip angle to get a natural point of aim. The sights should line up automatically wihtout...

MG-2 RF
My MG-2 RF works just fine, so Mr Riegl, I cannot join your class action lawsuit.

Unloading a MG-2
NAV and all other who own a MG-2, I have a MG-2 and I bought a RF Kit and installed it myself. It was not hard to do and only took about 30 minutes to do so. My gun is nearly 100% reliable with SK Pistol ammo. I have had less then 10 malfunctions in the last 7,000 rounds. That is right, a case and a...

.32 ACP
Many others have thought of .32 ACP as a target cartridge. However, the bug has always been the semi-rimmed case. The rim is not big enough to reliably headspace the cartridge. Accuracy suffers. A few gunsmiths have made barrels that headspace on the case mouth, with a dramatic improvement in accura...

.38 Special
K38, I too rediscovered revolvers several years ago. I now have a S&W 35, 14, 15 and 25. I really enjoy shooting them. Consider using a .38 special instead of a .32 Long revolver. A .38 special is easier to reload cartridges, has many more bullets available than .32 bullets, and it can be loaded...

MG2
I bought my MG2 a few years ago and now have about 7000 rounds through the gun. During the first brick (500 rounds) I had 4 malfunctions, ftf or fte. Since that time, I have had no malfunctions what so ever until recently. The new case of ammo has an occasional fail to fire with a solid firing pin i...

Ideal trigger stop
I have always thought that an ideal trigger stop would be a soft stop where the trigger pressure increases dramatically either before or after the sear is released. This could be done with a spring or elastic part in the trigger stop. However, if you have good trigger control and follow through, it ...

Cleaning the MG 2
The MG 2 is really a very open design, I just clean the action with Q-tips and Break Free every 1000 rounds or so. I use a bore snake to clean the bore. A thorough cleaning requiring barrel removal is only necessary if you are experienceing problems with malfunctions.

MG2
I completely disagree with "Another Owner".
My MG2 has been completely reliable after the initial break in period.
I use SK Pistol Match ammo.
I clean my MG2 about every brick or 2 of ammo.
Greg, is your MG2 an early model of later model ? Later models should digest any ammo.

Presidents 100
I made Presidents 100 and Distinguished Pistol in 1989. Yep, that's 21 years ago. I was age 39 at that time and I have never shot that well since. My vision and upper body strength have diminished and my physical endurance is about gone. If you are going to give it a try, do it now. Physical exercis...
