SCATT Solution driver problem
I have a SCATT SOLUTION ( black box ), and I have been using it without problems for a long time. Previously I have updated it, and I have been using the Scatt professional version software without problems until now. However, I am having problems , as my computer cannot recognize the SCATT driver a...

anschutz tenminator bloop tube
Hello all, I am buying a bloop tube for my SB rifles (I have a 1913 which I use regularly and a 2013/690 I could not bring to the US when I moved in but which I use to compete back home): I found the "anschutz tenminator bloop tube" in the ahg anschutz website, and looked appealing to me, ...

NPA eternally high on kneeling
OK, I did increase the filling of my roll, and now my position points lower, at least initially. I will have to give it some more training sessions provided the weather cooperates for a few more weeks. My score did not improve greatly, but I think that was more related to other problems I did not ad...

NPA too high
You are right, a picture could help here. I tried to send a picture, but for some reason I keep getting a message about exceeding my Upload quota limit of 3 MB... I am of medium build, do not have long legs (personal opinion), and I am approx 176 cm (5"9' in inches, I think). I am currently try...

NPA eternally high on kneeling
I could use some help on this matter: my kneeling position keeps pointing to the stars (too damn high) despite everything I do. I have tried (once at a time of course): placing my left foot a little bit forward, handstop forward + loosening the sling, different placements of the left elbow, lowering...

Nice article in USAS Shooting magazine
Eric The paper is actually very good, and well written. It is very reality-based and balanced and I personally felt it could apply to me, as opposed to other papers in the magazine. I personally prefer the paper-based version of the magazine over the on line version, for some reason. May be it does ...

Nice article in USAS Shooting magazine
I read a nice paper by Eric Uptagrafft on part time shooters in the last issue of the USAS magazine. Probably applies to a lot of people in this forum, and certainly to me as a lonely part- time shooter! Somehow makes a point about really taking advantage of less frequent training sessions as compar...

I have bought from Brenzovich. They provide good service, as far as I am concerned (I got my P700 FWB rifle from them), and they actually talk to you on the phone (as opposed to just ordering from a website). You are right however, sometimes you do have to wait a little bit ...

I have the old one. The table of contents seems to the the same for the new edition. If you like pictures, go for the new one. From what I can see, the new edition does not seem to add a lot in terms of content (please correct me if I am wrong). If I had none, I would go for the new one of course, b...

bloop tubes/MEC ?
There is a huge price difference between MEC tubes (either one) and the Champion Choice one. How easy it is for you, Jason, to take it out for cleaning and then re-fit it? Do you have to do a lot of sight adjustments? Finally, what device do you use to fit it to the barrel, I saw different measureme...

Hi,
I am looking for a bloop tube, and I was wondering if you have some input about what the best option could be. I have been curious about the MEC extension tubes (berta and strike). I do not know if anyone out there has any experience...

What hoops to you jump through for a home range?
I have the same problem. My wife. I use our finished basement, and this is what it looks like. I have a scatt system, and I also shoot live. I do not have a transport system, though, so I walk every ten shots.

bore cleaning, after every training session?
Hi again. I am trying to become a more disciplined shooter, and I have read about the importance of cleaning my smallbore rifle barrrel, as it apparently contributes to better grouping. I am using the cleaning rod, after every training session (approx 150 rounds) with both solvent and patches (vfg)....

ammo testing
So, from a practical standpoint how does the process work ? One contacts Eley for example directly and ask for this? Do they have facilities here in the US? I imagine there are restrictions for mailing barreled actions and other weapons parts in the US, they take care of that? I am not clear how tha...

Hey Barney, how would that work? That sounds like a very good alternative. I live in Columbia, MO, and I usually buy my ammo at Midway USA (located here in town), and other stuff at Champion Choice.

Eric, Discussing this with you has indeed renewed my interest and has recharged my batteries, and I want to THANK YOU A LOT for this! Eric I do appreciate a lot the thorough discussion you wrote about ammo testing. I think you are exactly right and the real question is: how far is everyone willing to push in order to improve his or her shooting?. I think when we adopt the prone position we all want to shoot 600, and we all work to...
