I think Francesco has already answered, but I like to add the comments concerning CM22, as I have some experience. The misfire sounds something like the firing pin is broken. Have you "clicked" the empty gun causing so some damage? As in every rimfire gun the firing pin is smashed against ...

I think there is no right or wrong answer to this issue. The grip's fitting depends on the anatomy of the shooter's hand. I have tried both grips, and as my fingers are disproportional long and palm extremely concave, I have chosen to use Rink grips with convex and thick volume. For example, with Mo...

because it was outshot, all its trigger components were worn out (outnumbered shots) and the final decision to give it away, was its unexpected manner to release shots even before the hair trigger was cocked. Holy torts Batman! I hope Matvei does not live in the US. A lawyer could put all of his ki...

I swapped from PGP 75 to SAM FP10 in 2003 (in that time it was Hämmerli FP10). It took some time to customize the gun, but on my first trip to the range it gave me 480, and after that 530+ frequently. The behaviour of the gun differs so much from my true and trusty Pardini, but after these years I h...

Cuervo70,

I swapped from Morini 162EI to SAM 14, couple of years ago, and I cannot regret my choice. So here is one opinion of SAM. I shoot between 94 - 97 for 10 shots, if that's any kind of recommendation.

I think the MG5 is a furher development of Hämmerli FP10 (today SAM FP50). Only extra balancing rods there. I have shot FP10 for four years and IMHO it fits my hand perfectly. Maybe it is not as forgiving as TOZ 35, but as you get costomized with it it hits the bulleys. As I am writing only for FP10...

Bob, if you experience about CM22 concentrates only to those written comments presented here in different fora I would stay in my own experiences. Having shot with CM22 with different ammo, I don't understand those overhelming complaints of its unreliability. My gun belongs to one of the first patch...

To Bob Riegl I want to point out that Cesare Morini has had nothing to do with CM22, CM162, CM82E, but his name. The Cesare left Morini Competition Arms in Bedano Switzerland in late 1980's or early 1990's and went to Lugano where he worked for a while with SAM. There he designed SAM K11 airpistol, ...

That MG electronic trigger issue is not clear. Electronics was announced at Swiss Arms Manufacture site, a manufacturer of their own SAM brand (www.samarms.ch). At the end of the page there are pictures of MG guns, but they seem to be with mechanical triggers. So, there is evidently nothing before w...

Right said. EA is used in German speaking countries (Ei in German means Egg). I think this is the reason for these two different suffixes of CM162.

I have right in my hand a Swedish journal where 16 airpistols have been tested and verdicted. They said about Aeron ACZ 101 Spider "A certain amount of potential, but something is missing". The grip is too small for adult, but evidently, you are planning the gun for kids (right?). Trigger ...

Beware of that ammo where the driving power is produced by the primer mass alone. There might be a danger, that the projectile is stuck in the long FP barrel and thus cause damage. I don't know if there is any benefit to use subsonic ammo in FPs. Just get standard velocity target/match ammo, and you...

You should consider seriously TOZ-35 without any excuses if you are a newbie at FP. It is very forgiving and robust gun. The MG-5 is actually a further development of Hämmerli FP-10 (SAM 50 nowadays). Only extra balancing rods when compared with previous one.

The serial number you mention may lead to a Finnish freepistol produced a very limited numbers in late 1930's. Also, the bolt in the gun shows similarities with that gun. The entire production of these guns was well under 200 units. If you find any letters in the body (e.g. "VKT"), it may ...

I might have some experience with my S/N sub-hundred unit. I shoot 5000+ shots per annum, and the malfunctions are rare. During the ongoing season I have had only one malfunction as the empty shell jammed the feeding, but I wonder if that problem was due to the gun or cartridge brand.

I guess our Russian shooting colleagues are as eager as we to see the new pistol alive. If you can read Russian, you can go to talks.guns.ru/forumtopics/30.html , and see that some of them are also waiting for the MP-672.
