Just curious but what muzzle velocities do you set your LP10 on and with which pellet?
Thanks.
Rustam
P.S.: I believe Steyr set it at 155 m/sec. at the factory

348/400 in 10 metre air-pistol at the Indian pre-nationals. Think it was 2002. I was using a FWB Mod. 2 with a Nygord Turbo-Comp. Had only started shooting AP a couple of months before, so did not go for the match with any expectations. By my reckoning, I had scored 347/400 (couldn't resist counting...

FWB AW93
Never seen one in the 'flesh' but it looks to be a well made pistol, which makes me wonder why these aren't that popular on the international circuit. Is it the price?
Thanks.

Hi Joydeep, There is no such rule as far as I know. I assume you want to shoot rifle and pistol at the forthcoming pre-nationals (GVM)? If so, you can. I have and time permitting, I will be shooting Standard Pistol and 50 metre prone open sight this year. This 'rule' is normally brought in by clubs ...

I think you will have to decide before hand which of your practice session scores is going to go towards the 20/20 results.
Once you finish shooting 20/20 for a particular fortnight, wait until the results are announced and then shoot the next 20/20 match.

Re: Steyr LP 10 "tuning"
Hello MAS, My experiece with the LP10P is confined to only those things that need adjusting. Whilst I have had to readjust the trigger weight twice in the past 17 months, I have never faced a problem with the absorber. So, I am afraid I cannot help you with that. Steyr or our host, who is an authori...

1) Remove grip. 2) Loosen screw no. 10 3) Adjust velocity by turning screw no. 20 in very small increments. Clockwise increases, anti-clockwise decreases velocity. Tighten screw no. 10 before checking for velocity - everytime. (Screw nos. 10 and 20 are indicated in the exploded diagram contained wit...

What should one look for when buying a used Toz 35?
The title says it all really.
All I can add is that the pistol is 3 years old and has fired approximately 5000 rounds.
Thanks.

Re: Trigger pull weight system
I got the impression that Rustam was after the dial type gauges (to set up a 2 stage trigger) as opposed to simple weights. That is correct. I suspect that the state of our roads and the differences in indoor and outdoor temperatures may well be why my trigger setting changes so often. Last year I ...

Jim, Your method isn't too far off from mine. ;-) For a 'pan', I use a plastic lid from a large jar with some holes around the rim for the thread that needs to go through. Saddlers thread is used to suspend the 'pan' from the trigger blade. For weights I use pellets as their weights are known. Howev...
