Re: IZH 35m

My bad! You are correct- I was unaware the IZH 35M was a totally different pistol than the TOZ 35M!
Both Russian, but different factories/pistols.
Please excuse my intrusion.

Re: IZH 35m

brent375hh- We're talking here about a TOZ 35M Pistol- Single shot .22cal for 50 Meters.
That wiki article is not about the TOZ.
Looks like this: https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2019/11 ... ee-pistol/

Re: IZH 35m

No need for snap caps in the TOZ!
Simply "Set" the trigger with the left lever, and dry fire to your hearts content.

Dry Fire directions at 12:50 in the video.

There are 1260 members whose name starts with J.
Search for J doesn't help since it is not a name.

No, sadly they're generic bulls-eye's- no specific NRA number.

Anybody try one of these remote-controlled target systems?

Re: Ramped barrel High Standard?

Thanks, nglitz. I suppose no manufacturer/smith sees the profit in making a HS barrel with an integral ramp. My HS guns have at times, worked flawlessly also. But then, during a match, fail causing refires. Magazine tuning is not something a shooter wants or needs. IMHO, a ramped barrel would bring ...

Re: Ramped barrel High Standard?

Love the idea of a "ramped" barrel for older HS pistols if it mitigates the fussy magazine lip issue.

Plus, the new huts are above the flood plain, but still wise to bring boots (tall!) for the surrounding marsh that sometimes prevails.
See you there!

Re: Practicing Timed and Rapid Fire with an air pistol at 10

oldcaster is correct- A target turner for airgun targets could be built fairly inexpensively, but as always, quantity is everything as far as cost goes. One system could cost many hundreds, but with sufficient interest and demand, the cost could be very reasonable ($150-$250). Options could include ...

If its two X's, who cares? :)
Just kidding! Going auto is a very dangerous situation. It may well start emptying the magazine next.
I would not load more than one round in the mag at a time until the problem is found and fixed.
Strip and clean is a start, and maybe during that you'll find the culprit.

If it is just a video image of the target you want, attaching a bullet video camera to a LCD monitor is relatively simple. Remove the eyepiece from a spotting scope, remove the lens from the camera, insert, and focus. Scoring is quite another matter! I use mine for up to 50', indoors and out, to vie...
