I have an adjustable rear iris that has 5 color filters plus polarization filters. I need to take it apart to clean it. I tried once and got it locked up, but it seems to work now.
The destructions are in German. Anyone have a translation?
Thanks all,
Ralph

bought a dell
I bought a used Dell off my local computer guy. Corporate turn in. It's got USB, 80gig HD and 2gigahtz dual core processor. for 275.00. I don't need a lot of computing power. He recommended XP anyway, as opposed to the newer operating systems, for this computer. I can use it to check my email instea...

computer recommendation for new RIKA
I'll be taking delivery of a RIKA soon and I am wondering if there are compatability issues with newer computers. Will RIKA work with any of the MACBOOKs? I know the guy that owns the local computer store. If I can't use a MAC I will have him build something for me. Or I'll have him fix a MAC for me...

Korth revolvers
Someone just pointed me toward a posting on www.gunbroker.com for a .22 cal korth. The guy is asking for a 9,900.00 starting bid. He's got stones, I'll say that. I'll pay a premium for a gun I like. I paid 400 for my 5-screw model 14 without hesitation. I consider that a premium over what they typic...

Korth revolvers
Does anyone use these for ISSF competition? They were mentioned while talking to some friends the other day and I haven't heard anything of the company in decades. They're US web site hasn't been updated in a few years. I hope they are still in buiseness 'cause they sure make some purty guns. Wonder...

target backers
My pellet trap is filled with plumbers putty. The targets stick to it and punch clean for a 10 shot string. Maybe they won't work as well when I start shooting good groups, but I will prolly have to buy targets by then, and I'll buy the better ones. Before I made this pellet trap I used glue stick a...

Airsoft "Match" Pistols
I was thinking of buying one of these because I travel for work 5-6 months a year. I have an AP, but some states regulate them as firearms. Plus, I think these would be easier to carry in luggage when flying. Another advanteage is that, if something steals it from my hotel room, it hasn't stolen a r...

load data
I like to buy the manuals called "loadbooks" that are caliber specific. If they are available they are great for ganeral reloading information. For bullseye specific recipes just post to this list or Bullseye-l. You'll get more help than you want. You've already got one good load, if VV N3...

izh problems
Hi all; Mine triples with Federal 714. WOOHOO! It happens so fast you think it's just a double. So far not a problem with anything else, but I don't experiment with it. The guy I shot next to at Perry this year told me that headspace changing due to soft metallugy can cause slam fires. Someone else ...

CCI St'd Velocity
"Mine have a black colored bullet, lot number is H13N26. It is written on the big box containing 5000 cartridges . The smaller packaging, i.e. the boxes of 500 and 50 cartridges do not carry a lot number. So, I suppose that what I have is manufactured by CCI and not by Federal ?" That is w...

CCI St'd velocity
Here's some possibly good information that I received from the Bullseye-l list It's seems to fit with what I am reading on the list: "CCI 22 LRSV in paper boxes (Part 00035) can be manufactured by 'either'CCI in Lewiston, ID OR Federal Cartridge in Anoka, MN and is generally intended for overse...

CCI St'd velocity
jipe I think the bullet shape might be why it chambers differently. I have not measured any, but I wonder if the forward driving band on the bullet is farther forward than on other brands. When I chamber CCI SV or Green tag in my Winchester 52E you can feel what I think is the forward driving band b...

Hello all;
Does anyone have experience with the CCI standard velocity sold in 50 round paper boxes? Is the packaging the only difference?
Thank you,
R.E. smalley

CDNN experience
Here's a "heads-up" on dealing with CDNN. As always with these surplus dealers, it's buyer beware. I received a TOZ from them a few weeks ago. Overall, it looks like it is in really nice shape, except for rust on the flat springs in the trigger group, which were never blued. I can't wait t...

Thanks for all the replies. I use CCI for practice, and I have most of a case of (UK mfg) Eley practice left, but the price of CCI is getting nearer the better brands if purchased in case quantity. I almost ordered a brick of S&B for eval. a few weeks ago but 14.00 shipping put me off. There's l...

S&B .22 ammo
Hello all;
Anyone ever use the club and std velocity for pistol? How would you rate it?
Any problems with missfires or shelf life?
Anyone in the U.S. know where to find it? I live about halfway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
Thanks all,
Ralph Ed

low votls lights
Hey all;
If there is no formal requirement, you might try LED's. You get lots of bright in a small package. 12volt DC is common for them.
