Sounds like your coach knows what you need to be doing. When I first started shooting 10m, I shot all the time. Shooting three or four 60 shot matches a day at home for about a year, and in competition once a week at our shooting club. When I switched guns to a Morini, I went to the club several tim...

We have been through this many times before. Any good target air pistol or rifle will shoot any pellet that is not deformed into a single hole at 10m. Yes some people prefer brand x over brand y and think that the expensive ones are going to help increase their score. In reality if you clamp your gu...

Re: question about shoot with different pellets
Beyond 10m, target pistols poop out really fast in accuracy. Actually that isn't true. I shoot at 10M, 20Y and 25M with both my air pistols and there's no obvious loss of accuracy. I know some people use lighter pellets at 25M with guns like the morini which tend to have a slightly lower power / ve...

Re: question about shoot with different pellets
Hi everybody, I'm an AP shooter;my pistol is Steyr LP10. In the Steyr manual;firm suggests 4.49 mm pellet for my pistol (according to test paper which is in the manual). At my home practises I use 4.49 pellet but also in my poligon practises, my coach give to me a 4.5 pellets. It would be an handik...

Re: Are air pistols considered "firearms"?
I have a cousin can't own a firearm because of his felony charge, but he is on probation for 2 years and the charge will be dropped after two years of imposed sentence. One of the conditions are that he cannot own firearms during the 2 years. He has been practicing to shoot competitively for a whil...

If getting your tank inspected once a year is a hassle, you need to find another place to get it inspected and filled. It takes about 5 minutes. Lone Star Scuba is where I get mine filled and inspected, and they are fast and courteous. They know exactly what I am doing and dont have any problem. It ...

TSRA hosts it and USAS sanctions it. I have shot it twice but I did not this year. It is in March and is held in Haltom City and Austin because of the size of the state and the availability of venues. Each venue shoots on a different day. Don Strickland is the Air Director for TSRA: d_strick@juno.co...

I would guess that the vast majority of shooters in the USA do not shoot using ISSF rules. Most are proably NRA rules. There is plenty of room for a scope if you use the right mount. Just as there is plenty of room if you use all the appropriate equipment. Even with target carrier controls at our cl...
