Since the author of this thread keeps referring to the thread views I'd like to point out that those aren't unique views, instead it counts each time someone visits, regardless of how many times they visit. So 10-20 of those views are probably you alone impatiently checking back. I'm also willing to...

Sorry, I actually turned 18 last April, though I've been shooting for about 4 years now using club provided equipment. The jacket I used there was actually one from Champion Shooters, which I liked, but wasn't tight enough. So I'm pretty certain I'm finish growing. Thanks for everyone's advice and r...

Investing in first shooting jacket/pants, need advice.

Hello, as stated I'm getting ready to invest in my first shooting jacket/pants (junior shooter), so I'm looking for something more on the cheaper end. What I've found so far is a "stiff double canvas" on Champion Shooter's ( LINK / LINK ) or a more expensive standard set from Monard. ( LIN...

Well, what kind of smallbore shooting do you do. For things like benchrest competitions you can participate in sporter classes with some really cheap rifles. My family purchased a Sako rifle that had been HEAVILY free floated but it shoots very well and we could use it for squirrel hunting if we wa...

You won't go wrong with a second hand Anschutz. Walther and FWB are fine too but parts always seem a little easier to find for Anschutz I have a Match 54 thats 30+ years old and still shoots well. A Match 64 or an 1813 / 1913 would be better but more expensive. Walther KK200 a good rifle too. Yeah,...

At my club the min. age is 12, although my younger brother was able to slip by at 10.

Their physical strength makes a difference too, when it comes to rifles anyhow, unless it's a light rifle.

If you're an NRA member, perhaps you could get a Marksmanship program going? It gives the shooters something to work for, giving them reason to come back weekly.

I actually shot my highest Kneeling score ever when I had a bad cold, although the rest of my targets pretty much sucked.
