Re: Air Pistol Weight

I also went through this a few years back. Using a band, I could continue to shoot .22 & air pistol, although it was sometimes painful. The band I used is relatively inexpensive, and is available at a lot of US drug stores. It is a "FUTURO Tennis Elbow Support", and costs about $11. I...

LP10's have been adjusted by professional tuners (i.e., machining) up to 10-12 fp for FT and silhouette. Search the Yellow

Re: How to modify IZH-46M grips

Google Nygords notes or maybe someone here has copy and can post link. the notes have some grip fitting advice. I'm guessing I've posted links to Nygord's Notes at least half a dozen times since Don's death, most recently no more than a month or 2 ago. Everything you need to fit the grips and, equa...

How to modify IZH-46M grips

Ive got the Izzy and I've got the Dremel, however, my woodworking skills were drawn into question during 8th grade shop. Is there any kind of a tutorial - written or video - on how to go about carving my Izzy grips to properly fit my hand? Edit -- OK, I'm going to get out the Dremel and go for this....

How difficult is it to increase a Steyr LG110 match to FT

power? I have read some posts indicating that it is not that difficult and that, likewise, it can be converted back to match velocity.

Question re Diana 100 disassembly

Hi all. I want to remove the stock of my Diana 100 so I can work on it a bit. Is it just a matter of removing the central screw in the forearm and lifting out the action or is there some more devious involved?

Thanks,

Compact scope for FWB 601

Lately, I've been doing some informal bench rest shooting with my 10m rifles in my backyard. Does anyone know of a compact scope (cheap) that would fit my FWB 601 without altering the gate?

Thanks

It's designed to fairly easily break down into three pieces to fit in an attache' style case. Remember the 007 rifle?

What case would you recommend for a take down Steyr LG110?

I've slowly gotten back into shooting lately and would like to take advantage of the LG110 take down capabilities. What cases would you recommend.

Thanks,

Recommendation for a cheap, acceptable spotting scope?

Can any of you give me a recommendation for a cheap, acceptable 10m spotting scope? After years of photography, some of it professional, shooting Leica, Nikon, and Canon, I understand the value of good glass. I also understand that many optic uses do not require that extra x% clarity, etc. So, with ...

Have any of you purchased target AR's from eGun?

There appear to be some good deals there. The question is whether the sellers will ship to the USA and how difficult it is to get them into the country given the crystal clear sharpness of Chertoff and Homeland Security.

Questions re cleaning of SSP and PCP 10m air rifles

What is the standard wisdom about how often to clean the barrels of 10m air rifles?

What do you use, pellets or snake (no bristles)?

Thanks

Perfect advice. Thanks.

I have also been thinking about filing off some of the ridge between the index and middle finger, but have been hesitating. I need to just suck it up and do it.

I know it can be twisted and angled, but what about moved forward? There is nothing in the manual about it.

Recommendations for wood stock 10m AR rifle.

I am thinking about trying a wood stock rifle and have been looking at a FWB P70 and a Steyr LG10P. What do you think of these two and are there others you would suggest?

Thanks

Questions re grip and gloves

First, I want to thank you all for your courtesy and helpfulness as I have been struggling along with my new 10m AR focus. Of all of the types of shooting I have done over the years, I find this form, for some reason, to be the most challenging and interesting. I think it is, in part, because of the...
