Re: Free pistol target source
If you get Kruger targets wet, they basically dissolve. The NRA found this out at the small bore nationals the year before they moved to Indiana. But yes I like the Kruger for 10M air pistol.

Re: New Inexpensive Air Gun Chronograph
I talked to Scott and he said he built it himself. I ordered one of those 3006 chronographs you mentioned from E-bay. I figure that will be better than my old Chrony although it still works but eats 9V batteries like M & M's I started iron sights 6:00 technique. Switched to Sub-6 and scored quit...

Benelli Kite Air Pistol Parts
I bought up the remaining Benelli Kite parts that used to be part of Larry's Guns (RIP) Rather than me sitting on these parts and them going out of date I'd like to make them available to Kite owners. I have a few air cylinders some of which are still in date. I have some Rink grips and a bunch of t...

Re: New Inexpensive Air Gun Chronograph
Hey Doug, The Steyr guy who used to come to Camp Perry with Scott Pilkington. He had a rig in his tool box. When servicing the Steyrs he would adjust the velocity and the bottom of his tool box had a chrono in it. From the outside just a small hole maybe 2" diameter with foam protection around ...

WTB Military grip High Standard 106/7
Out of serious bullseye competition so going back to my roots. Iron sights. Sort of in the market for a 5" Military grip angle High Standard. Don't want to spend a lot. Trades possible. What do you have in the back of the safe needing to spend quality time on the range again.

WTB Stevens rear peep No. 150 WFC
This has two screws into the rear receiver of a JC Higgins 101.13 (same as Stevens Springfield 86C) tube fed bolt action. I have the front sight but the hood is missing. Would like to find one of those as well. Or something similar that would work. Does the rear peep that Havlin sells for old Mossbe...

Re: Revisiting Benelli Kite Service
I spent several hours out at Redfeather with Brian looking for "that Benelli box" We found only parts for the MP-90 & 95. The only Kite items we located were a few air cylinders (several of the short light weight) He does have a LOT of Rink grips for the Kite. Because the stock grip wa...

Re: How Many Benelli Kite Owners Out There?
I bought it at Camp Perry when Larry first brought them down. He must have shared with the coaches in the North East first. The OSU coach Sweeny was up at Larry's booth at the same time and bought a bunch which convinced me to buy one

Re: Delibrate shooting in match
So amarinder, Did you get a chance to practice the press and hold technique? It is different. Often we default back to allowing the trigger finger to relax and it resets during recoil. Keeping it back takes some practice but it works and one of the side benefits is that you have better control at al...

Re: Steyr LP10 coming apart?
Well in my wonderful town of East Podunk Hollar, There is not a small enough pin punch to be had. 1/16th is as small as you can get locally. I've ordered some watch band repair pin punches which come much smaller. 0.8, 0.9, and 1.0 mm

Re: Delibrate shooting in match
I call every shot in slow fire. In sustained fire I do not take the time to call each shot. Just trust my trigger squeeze to perfect the sights within my aiming area.. 1. In sustained fire What I do. (gun empty, action open, magazine loaded but not inserted) 2. Squeeze and hold trigger, Lower slide ...

Re: Delibrate shooting in match
What does " When you feel the click of sear reset." mean. Can you explain. You have been pressing trigger to release hammer then allowing reset to happen at some point during recoil and recovery. If you press and hold, you have all 4 fingers stabilizing during recoil and recovery. Make re...
