The price difference between the Daisy and something like an R10 is much more than $1 per tin, but even if it's $7 per tin, it is still worth it. Look at it from a 'per shot' perspective and it's tiny, but also look at it from a cost of time perspective. How many minutes does it take you to shoot 50...

where did you get that pic? any idea where it was made... it looks great, is it properly designed to reduce flip though? I though it should direct more gas upwards... I'm not 100% though, and it sure does look awesome.

TAU-7 Compensator

Hi All, Another TAU-7 Q if you don't mind: I have one from 1999, before they made the Match version. Can anyone tell me if the compensator is a direct fit for this? I think it is just like the barrel weights, and slips over the barrel and hangs out a bit, if so it should fit. The Canadian distribute...

Thanks for all the insight on the matter, I do have a chrony, but just bumped up my velocity to around 485fps from 435 (without breach seating the pellet) btw, the velocity was very consistent not more then 7fps variance over 60 shots I'm going to give it a try at this velocity setting without breac...

what speed should I be at?

I do have a chrony but I haven't tested to see what fps I'm getting

What should I be at 520-570? I use RWS Meisterkluglen pistol pellets, I don't think I'm that high, I believe I'm under 500fps currently.

great to hear from a fellow Canadian! So if I read correctly, the LP10 and other 'high end' pistols don't push the pellet in as the bolt is closed? If that is the case, I don't see much point in doing this, except perhaps I'd get a bit more velocity, so to maintain a similar velocity of non-seated p...

Should I seat the pellet in my TAU-7 barrel?

Hi All, I was wondering if I should push the pellet a few mm into the barrel as I load it. I've modified the end of a pen to do this in a repeatable manner, and it does not dent or harm the pellet from what I can see. My though was this would produce more consistent shots, as the pellets are now of ...
