Re: CZ BRNO TAU-7
I have one, and love it. The only problems I've had is that the trap door loading gate would not stay closed (lost many O rings that way). I fixed that by installing a stronger spring, which makes it kinda hard to operate. Also I never had any luck with bulk filling, I could never get more than a ha...

Re: Tendinitis and age
Whatever age, this can be a real PITA. Only hing that will keep it at bay is a good work out. It's a very common problem.

Re: Kelvin and Lumen
I'd go with the 4000K. 6500K will be blueish. https://www.lumens.com/how-tos-and-advice/kelvin-color-temperature.html I did a lot of the lighting upgrades at our range, and went with 3K. The florescent tubes give 2700K, I do not like them at all, but they're below the recommended 300 lux too. I'm g...

Kelvin and Lumen
I am in the process to update the light fixture in the spare bedroom, where I stand when shooting 10m across the cabin to my pellet trap in the other end. I am atm looking at a 600x600mm 70W LED panel. It seems like sorcery a single panel smaller than the twin 18W florescent tubes I now use can be m...

Found these on Frankonia Jagd, and elsewhere. Anyone tried them, I thought they could be nice for some outdoors pistol shooting?

Filling the 150g decanting tank fro TAU7
I have trouble filling the 125g tank that is used to decant from a larger source. I have no experience using CO2 in this way. What happens is that I get the gas inside, but as soon as I remove the tank from the, in my case Soda Stream tank, it empties all the gas out. The pin valve will not stay shu...

Spring for oddball Baikal IZH35M
I have a Baikal IZH35M, and need a new mag spring. Does anyone know where to get one, preferably in the EU? Or are there any other spring that might fit? The measurements are with my steel imperial ruler 3-1/4" long 15/16" back to front, and 5/32" wide. or with my vernier caliper in m...

Re: Dry fire an IZH-35M
Very old thread, but people keep asking this on various places on the internet, so I leave my two cents here: If you cock the gun and look att the firing pin, you will see that without a cartridge in the chamber, most of the time, the firing pin does not protrude at all. And when it does it protrude...

Re: Leaking Tau7
I miked the old seal at 8.252mm that is the only critical measurement as far as I can see. I will make one a little bigger, and also a tool to seat them with. I think it can be easy to damage the valve seating area when they are pushed into the hole. Thanks!

Leaking Tau7
Well, I had problems with my Tau7 after I replaced all the o-rings. It has been key holing. I thought I should replace the valve seal too 'while I was at it' before bothering to chrono the gun (bad idea). It did feel it was a bit slow when I was shooting it. I did get the valve seal out with the hel...

Why only one firing pin?
Some older (often cheap) open bolt .22 rifles (banned in some places) have one fixed firing pin that strikes the rim in two places (integral with the bolt face usually). This is often given as one reason why they are so reliable. But why then not let all rimfire guns have more than one firing pin, s...

I looked around for FAS, trying to find the manufacturers site. Seems FAS do not exist any longer?! The New FAS air pistol is made by Chiappa. And there is nothing wrong with that. Chiappa is a quality gun maker best known to Cowboy Action shooters, and other center fire shooters.. http://chiappafir...

A steel chicken is the size of the 8ring...how hard can that sport be? In AP silhouette the chicken, located at 10 yd, is approximately 20x20mm, which makes it smaller then the 9 ring. You must knock down five chickens in 2.5 min. Pigs, Turkeys and Rams are larger and located at 12.5, 15 and 18 yd....
