Re: Question about "clicking"
Jim Owens http://www.jarheadtop.com has a similar theory on adjusting sight for high power service rifle shooting. He has a booklet for sale on his site called "The Big Lie".

Re: Quick Review of Walther LP400
I can't see the top of your rear sight, but the one on my LP400 Carbon is adjustable for depth as well as width. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c278/nglitz/3200/LP400%20rear%20sight_zpsugt8fzqv.jpg The screw in the center is depth, width is on the shooter's right. The tool needed is a mini-hex dr...

Re: Getting the most out of an alibi
With an alibi you have to make a split decision concerning what you will do, take it or not. ... Going forward I will meticulously control what I can and continue to perform the fundamentals to my best ability. Dryfire Always take the alibi. Otherwise, those unfired rounds are zeros. Those don't he...

He wants action shooting, not precision. Big targets, close up, real fast.

If the parts list will tell you the size vs. the part number, it's easy. www.mcmaster.com will happily sell you bags of 100 for $5 or $6. Ace Hardware may well have the size for $.25 each. The green color is just dye: marketing.

Re: Swaging 22 Chamber , how?
Mostly, it's to repair damage caused by the firing pin hitting the back of the barrel around the chamber. Better to push the metal back than abrade it away. Moving steel makes it harder, not softer. It's called "work hardening". Metallurgy 101.

Re: Anyone shoot in their house?
Lots of people like to wildly exaggerate any possible hazard to make themselves feel important. Lead is the least of our worries in air pistol or rifle shooting. Lead dust is heavy enough that it falls like rocks to the ground. Even dry sweeping won't make it fly through the air. Don't eat the pelle...

Nothing lowly about an Izzy. Just shave the shipping crate off the grip inside.
Owning both an Izzy and an Alpha Proj, I've got to say, avoid the Alpha.
I'm still torn between my Izzy and the Walther LP400. I shoot similar mediocre scores and the Izzy feels just as good.

Then let's say "target shooting at paper and clay and maybe just electronic, inorganic, gluten free, bran muffin based targets. No animals were inconvenienced by the noise of gunpowder burning or even the lovely smell of an expended shotgun shells" Hint: the antis will never love us, never...

This clown POTUS has acted like the stereotypical new rich since the day he took office, starting with his two week vacation with the king of Spain. His $50,000 expense account is ridiculously overspent daily. About the only thing good I can say is that when he's on vacation, he isn't actively destr...

Looks like small divots for securing sliding weights on the barrel. The top picture shows one.J R wrote:Is that a ported barrel in the middle picture? Or did this pistol always have one.
My LP400 has neither ports nor divots under the barrel shroud.

Was out shooting trap today with a few diehards in 18F and 15 mph winds. Great fun! Not quite up to my average. Those clay birds seemed to see me coming.

Re: Accidental discharge
"misfire" is a non-fire, i.e. pull the trigger and no bang.
Unintentional discharge is bang with no trigger pull (or release if so equipped).
I've seen a Perazzi discharge unintentionally when it was closed. A Krieghoff, too.
