Thanks for the replies. I will call Jocelyn tomorrow and talk to him. USAS doesn't have them.

Source of nonius gages in US?

Hi All, Does anyone know of anyone selling nonius gages (used to score a paper target to 1/10ths as in a final) in the US? I found them on the ISSF website, but they come as a set for all of the disciplines. I am just interested in smallbore and air rifle, and would rather get them individually if p...

Try Centershot.com. They don't have online ordering so you will have to call them (703-266-1874). They have Air Rifle Shooting for the lowest price I've seen ($60 US). Last I checked they were waiting on a shipment, but that was a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry, I can't tell from the catalog. There is only one picture, and I'm not sure which is pictured, so I can't even make any guesses. Best bet would be to call Bill and talk to him.

Just got a catalog from ESP for 2007. The old style rest is $175, with adapters for tapered stocks $50/$75 (you'll have to ask Bill what the differences are in price), and the new rest with lateral adjustments is $225. If you have anything different you need, I'll bet Bill can take care of you since...

You didn't mention if the match was under NRA smallbore, NRA international, or USAS/ISU rules. If it is under NRA smallbore rules, you should be OK. Otherwise, there are restrictions on material thickness, stiffness, etc. that I'm pretty sure your Creedmoor coat won't meet, besides the buckles not b...

I just went back to the website and the "membership" button is no longer there. I had a message from MS explorer that the security certificate wasn't valid when I tried earlier, so maybe they are in the process of modifying the site (8:20 CST). I hope so!

It appears that you do this under "membership", but I wasn't able to log on. Maybe I wasn't doing it correctly, though....

Thanks, everyone! Sounds like it will be worth my while to add another book to the collection. A coach isn't an option at the moment (for several reasons) so I take help where I can get it, and right now that is mostly books.
Cheers,
Mike

Book advice- Air Rifle Shooting vs Ways of the Rifle

Hi All, I see many references to the book "Ways of the Rifle", but not for "Air Rifle Shooting" by the same authors. I'm just curious how much different information AR Shooting has over that in "Ways". Obviously, there will be a fair bit in common, since they are very s...
