David has got the proper link. The O-rings 210, 211 are the large piston rings and the 219 and 221 rings are for the valving. Typically, it's these latter rings that get contaminated with petroleum-based lubricants and degrade to a waxy, non-pliant state. In my files I do have a couple of exploded p...

The failure to hold air pressure may be due to the O-rings in either the main cylinder or the valving above the trigger. There are diagrams available on the 'net, but you could figure out the disassembly without screwing things up too badly. I'd change the O-rings in the valving first. You don't nee...

I sold my Domino/FAS 604 two years ago, but had a lot of fun with it, including decent scores at the nationals. Rebuilt it, using all new O-rings. Make sure you do not put petroleum-based lube anywhere near your O-rings; it destroys them over time. Use silicone grease. At any rate, I think I still h...

Another thing easy to check out early on are the electrical contacts. I reconditioned a 152 that was reluctant to fire and luckily solved the problem basically by taking it apart, cleaning it and putting it back together. The oxide coating inhibits good electrical contact. Use a pencil eraser gently.

The 104 through 107 parts list is pretty much the same. I have the 5 page, four language list and an exploded parts diagram which I got from Hammerli when I visited Lenzburg some years ago.

See my PM to you.

Brownell's bought the Lewis Lead Remover outfit a few years ago, but they had no problem replacing for no cost a piece I broke last month.

+1 on previous posts ... the LLR does bores and forcing cones easily and efficiently.

Most assuredly, try to get an East Hartford gun. And get as many original magazines as possible. Personally, I wouldn't touch a non-Connecticut Victor. I "loaned" mine (with barrel weight) to my son a few years ago and now I'm begging him to give it back. Reliable, accurate and a sweet, cr...

What you're looking for is a Chore Boy copper scruby pad. Most supermarkets carry them.

Of course, you could always buy the Lewis Lead Remover from Brownell's, as long as you're talking about .32, .38/.357, .44 or .45 calibers.

Two other vendors that haven't been mentioned here include Precision Delta in Alabama and NSK in Maryland.

Re: Revolvers for 2700 BE

In the history of our national matches only Harry Reeves and Bill Mc millan were truly competitive with wheel guns and they are both dead now . Others tried but had no success after our gunsmiths learned to properly zero tolerance the 1911. Bill Horton I think Martin "Babe" Magnan might d...

I got the O-ring kit from Canada some years back and have stripped my Domino 604 many, many times. It isn't difficult if you proceed slowly and study the parts diagram. You might find that replacing just the small O-rings will cure the problem, so initially stay away from the big piston. Like me, I ...

Highest on the most-likely list is the sear/hammer engagement. Something might be broken or the engagement is too shallow. You need to physically look at this.

Just to clarify ... you'll need two of the same die. Just back out the crimper on the first and use it as the seater and back out the seater on the second die and use it as the crimper.

M52 trigger

S&W makes two sear springs for the gun, differing only in thickness. Installing the thicker one will increase the weight of the trigger pull.

Part numbers are 062390000 for the regular spring and 062390100 for the thicker.

Suggest you call either Neal Johnson at 800-284-8671 or Homer at Champion's Choice 800-345-7179. They're both stocking dealers.

If they don't have what you want, they ought to be able to explain why you can't get it.

One thing to keep in mind is that there is no one-size-fits-all load. What works in my Hammerli probably won't work in your Walther and that won't work in your Pardini. By "work" I mean function and recoil, maybe group size. Most all of the recommended hand loads I've seen will punch the X...
