Re: Pardini Lifetime Warranty

I bought a Pardini a few years ago. Though I haven’t needed a part it seems like I read on the Pardini website they still support anything they ever made with parts. That impressed me and was one of the selling points when I made my purchase. If I had a parts problem and Pardini USA was not responsi...

Re: How to tell if someone have potential in 10m air pistol?

I watched my daughter try out for her high school rifle team. Lots of kids tried out. She made the cut. I watched her get her butt whipped. In her defense it was, and is, a very good HS team. Though she was at the bottom on the team she did enjoy it. Any open practice she was there because she wante...

Daisy 499B Barrel Cleaning

I picked up a 499B over the summer for fun. I set up a 5M range in the house getting ready for the time change next weekend. I haven’t shot the rifle a ton but have been shooting it. I am curious how often, if at all, the barrel needs to be cleaned. I cleaned it after I got it for good measure. Sinc...

I have a nice CF tank but would get this had it been available back then. https://gxpumpofficial.com/collections/gx-pump/products/gx-e-cs2-pcp-air-compressor It will fill that pistol in under a minute and you won’t have to screw with going to get your tank filled. GX has a battery powered version t...

Re: Men’s 10m Olympic AP Slots 2028

The USA competes in 10M pistol. Without looking it up I believe we earned spots for the 2024 Olympics. If you did not see any USA shooters in the 2024 Olympics on TV it’s because none of them made the top 8 in qualifications so they did not move into finals (medal round). They only showed finals on ...

Re: Best training at home

Since you are shooting in your home I assume 10M air pistol. Is there really an issue with lead contamination when shooting an air pistol? That’s a question for the general audience. I would not be concerned myself. If it was a powder burner with a primer I would be more concerned.

Re: Shooting Range Setup - Basement

As far as a pellet trap you can get one of those Champion .22lr bullet traps or just make one. To make your range semi modern get a Wyze camera of Amazon for about $30. Get it up close to your target and sync it up to your iPad on your shooting stand. That will give you a real time view of you shot....

Re: Breaking in a new jacket and pants kit.

My opinion about this, I do not want to break it in. Have a pair of Gehman trousers for more than a year, using them daily, that have yet to be folded and just stand them vertically in the corner when not using them. As far as coats go, shoot with it, and it will naturally conform to your needs, tr...

Grippy wrote: Sun Sep 08, 2024 12:15 pm I'd never get one of those colorful laminated factory grips. Sure they look nice, which is yet another excuse people use to not customize them. If you do customize them it looks way worse than having done so with a regular walnut grip.
Grippy makes a good point. Didn’t think about that.

Re: walther lp500 query

To my knowledge just the color scheme. I have the regular Expert with walnut stocks. It’s I nice pistol. I have a friend with the Blue Angel Expert, and even though I like the traditional look, his is pretty awesome looking. Given a choice I would buy the Blue Angel if price was similar.

Re: Looking for Best PCP Air gun for beginner- (Budget-friendly)

Do you want it for 10M air rifle or just a PCP to shoot? If it’s for 10M air rifle just keep watching this site for a good used one to come up in your budget. A new one will be north of $1500. If it’s for shooting in general then there are a lot of options for $1000 or less new.

Re: Ways of the Rifle, out of circulation, "Rifle Training"

I bought Ways of the Rifle a few years ago from Champions Choice or Creedemore. If they are coming out with a new version that may explain why it’s out of circulation. A new version is probably a good thing if it brings it up to the standards of their air rifle or pistol book with updated info, colo...

Re: Inline filter for air compressor to remove moisture

No doubt there are some cheap, crappy compressors but some are pretty decent. Just don’t fill tanks with them. They will have no problem filling your pistol air cylinder directly one minute at a time. You are correct though if you plan to fill tanks you need a good compressor which means big dollars...

Re: Inline filter for air compressor to remove moisture

I wouldn’t bother getting a tank. Especially for a pistol. Get a small compressor and just fill the gun with it. Look at a GX CS2. It would be perfect for a pistol. I bought the battery version of it recently (GX E-L2) to use on the road instead of hauling around a tank. It has pretty well convinced...
