Re: Going to Have an Air Pistol Match for Adults in Wisconsi
We have air gun activity in Minnesota. Check the Minnesota Rifle and Revolver site for schedule. We are shooting weekly in Maplewood Minnesota, not all that far from the Wisconsin line. ?We have geared it for adults but all are welcome.

Re: Shooting shops in Nuremberg?
Not too far north is Suhl. There many custom gunmakers hold forth and are more than proud to show their creations. The museum is also a must see. Well worth the few extra hours to get there. This is the home of many of the German marques. If you need a recommendation for a affordable housing, we sta...

Skanaker Performance
I grant my reference to Skanaker's in competition is by hearsay only. I may have the event and date wrong however I have been told that Jocelyn Langlois, a Canadian shooter and currently a Coach shot the 581 with the Skanaker. He referred to having dialogue with Ragnar at the time and getting an ass...

Skanaker Performance
I believe one shooter in the Montreal Olympics used a Skanaker to score 581. As said previously, use it, practice, set up the trigger as you like it as it is very adjustable and enjoy it. Service is available through Mike Archer in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. He fabricates parts where they are not curren...

300 meter shooting
300 meter shooting is alive and well in Minnesota. The Minneapolis Rifle Club has a climate controlled range with electronic scoring which we use year around. We shoot F class, prone, three position, and offhand. It beats ice fishing.

Older Shooters
Our state champion (Minnesota) in both Free Pistol and Small Bore Prone is 71 years of age. He recently set a NRA national record in his age group as well. He is also absolutely competitive in 300 meter offhand and position shooting. As he is apt to say, " Don't play the Age card!!!"

Toz trigger malfunction
There have been previous posts which get into the resetting of the levers. During cleaning, if one moves the levers when the limiter isn't positioned, the levers may become out of synch. There is a stirrup and pin system which can become disengaged and needs to be reset. With the hammer out, the con...

It is an excellent pistol with very adjustable ergonomics. Grip is adjustable as is cant of sights. The sights are adjustable without having to change blades as to width and depth of notch as well as length of radius. It has very robust construction and most are with Morini grips. The reach is rathe...

toz grip fitting.
It would be a rare exception if the grips from one Toz would fit another. The tangs are welded at slightly different angles and the amount of weld material varies from gun to gun. Even when fitting aftermarket grips to the Toz, where only the upper screws tie to the frame and the lowers only to each...

TOZ Pistol Box
Go to your local Goodwill store and pick up a briefcase. That with a bit of foam padding and some cloth to dress it up will do just dandy. Price, less than $10. With a small scope and some imagination, the ammo and scope will fit in there as well. What else could you want? They even have locks. Bewa...

The Toz's have a longer distance between the backstrap and the trigger at it's rear most setting. If the Toz you are trying has standard grips, you may be in trouble. You may be to drastically modify the grip to be able to properly approach the trigger. With a Morini grip, or with the Rink grip, esp...

Toz vs Morini
The toz has a slightly longer reach between the backstrap and the rear most trigger setting. If you have fairly short fingers, fitting the toz can be somewhat of a struggle, ie read a lot of grip carving and still a compromised finger trigger position. Many of the club guns that came from eastern eu...
