Re: Anyone still using CO2 match pistols

Hello everyone,
I always shoot with my Feinwerkbau C 25 from 1993. It works like new. I get expired CO2 extinguishers for cheap.

Re: Is the Hammerli 150 a difficult pistol?

If I do a lot of dry firing with the Hammerli 150, won't I wear out the mechanics too quickly?

Is the Hammerli 150 a difficult pistol?

Hello fellow shooters. I've been dying to get into the 50 m free pistol discipline. I want to buy a good gun, but not necessarily a new one. I've found a Hammerli 150 in perfect condition and for a very good price. I really like it. I searched the net for reviews and found that the pistol's mechanic...

Cheek rest.

Hello friends,
I'm taking back my rifle cheek rest on which I'm missing a bit of height.
Should I have a prominent cheekbone or should it be a little rounded?
I only shoot 60 bullets in the prone position.
Thank you for your valuable advice.

Re: Anyone still using CO2 match pistols

I use an old Feinwerkbau C25 which is perfect for me. I don't want to change it until I find some gaskets. It still works perfectly, even though it's from 1993. I can use it in competition in France.

would it be possible to have a photograph of your modified trigger cue?
Thank you, Gerry.

Gerry,
I didn't read your message before writing.
If I understand correctly, extending the lever means installing a longer trigger tail?

Re: KK500 Maintenance

Tim, you're right, a good cleaning can't hurt. This trigger is nice and clean, and its starting weight is about 200 grams. It's a matter of habit, but I'd prefer it to be lighter. My rifle is from 1970 and I've had it for just over a year. It came from Germany as new. It must have been in storage fo...

Re: KK500 Maintenance

I was asking because I use an old Walther with a really good barrel. For me the trigger works fine but I can't get the trigger weight down as I'd like and I wonder if a bath in a cleaning product might improve its operation.

Re: Prone training with a 10 m rifle.

Hello,
thank you both for this very useful information.
So I think I'm going to give it a serious go with the 50 m, even though I know there are some notable differences. It'll be good for the groundwork.
Best regards and happy shooting.
