Re: Morini Free Pistol CM-84E : Two Stage vs Hair Trigger
Hi guys, Have been wondering whether a Two Stage trigger is better than the Hair Trigger in the Free Pistol Competitions ! A person using the Morini AP is much used to the the 2-stage trigger system and when he competes in the Free Pistol event, he would be at an advantage with the same firing mech...

I chronographed my K58 with light pellets and the slowest were about 480fps and ran into the 490s with quicker ones. I recommend RWS Basic or Hobby in that gun, but if you like spending money JSB Green has consistently been the most accurate pellet tested by me in any gun. Hi Rover, I tried the JSB...

Re: morini cm-22 or cm-22RF
which of the two models is better, for general purposes. I like the RF but is too light for me even with weights and the normal cm-22 is a litte heavy at front Tito, if the RF is too light, even with all three weights; then glue more weight onto your weights. I shoot my RF with just two weights. Tony

Re: fwb trigger weight
My trigger feels heavier than I would like. I have the weight adjustment screw backed out all the way but It is still much heavier than my izzy, and fwb model 2 pistols. Any suggestions. Hi Darine, have you checked the trigger pull weight with a trigger gauge? If so, and it's near, but not under 50...

Re: question
as far as I know, the ISSF world 10 meter match record(60 shots) is still held by an FWB CO2 pistol. Afraid not. 594 by Jin in April 2009. He used an LP10. Well David, I'm not afraid to say "OK". Up until Jin's record breaking in 2009, weren't both match and final records held by the same...

Re: question
Hi guys thank you for all the help. I have decided to get a 46m. A friend of mine wants to get me a Steyr LP1. Do you guys consider it superior pistol? I am setting up a target for my backyard, and another for my garage. What can I do to improve? Hi JaxAirPistolED, Yes, the Steyr LP1 is by far, a s...

How about IZH 46M for a fraction of the cost. Also, though I have zero experience with CO2 pistols, I like you am in Jacksonville (St Johns) and set up a range in my garage. Based on what I've read about CO2, and the fact that the temperature in my garage can easily/often reach the upper 90's, I th...

Hi Murray, There is something wrong with your process. I always end up with highly polished brass, whether I tumble 3 hours or 4 hours. If you bought your Thumbler's Tumbler from STM http://www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com/ there should have been a card provided in their kit that gave # of cases per 2...

What would be best 6 o'clock hold or dead center???? for 25 an 50 yd's thanks Hi Firefirst, What do you mean, by 6 o'clock hold? Do you mean holding so that the front sight is just touching or almost touching the black bull? Or, do you mean that there is some white space between the front blade and...

Re: Any matches in Southern CA 22-23 Sep?
I'm going to be in Palmdale, CA that weekend, wondering if there was any shooting available. Thanks. Yes Mike, there is a Bullseye match(900..any class..your choice) at the Prado Olympic Venue. It starts at 0900 Sunday morning, 9-23-12. All strings are shot at 25yds, it's very informal(gimpy arm......

Just getting into air pistol at 10 meters. I'm right handed but my master eye is my left eye. I shoot smallbore rifle lefthanded. Re: Morini CM84E with new compensator
Does any of you own a Morini Cm84E with the new longer compensator? Is there a way to fit the pistol in the original Morini case, including getting a brand new foam to start? If not what do you use to carry the pistol? What is the total length of your pistol, vs one that uses the old compensator? T...

Tony, I was referring to the original question about the guns used in the Olympics and why they are so different. There's nothing wrong with CO2, I know I've found some LP1' s for friends in the $900 range both CO2 and Air. The Lp1 has an excellent trigger many prefer the LP1 trigger over the LP10 trigger. CO2 doesn't handle extreme changes in temp very well, but few are exposed to that problem, except people ...
